It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.
Alicia Fox was recently spotted backstage visiting at AEW Dynamite. Do you think Alicia will end up being All Elite?
Alicia was never a great wrestler, but she was a great character and she would fit in very well with the craziness that is the AEW Women’s roster. Now that she’s cleaned up and dealt with the demons that caused her to be fired from WWE, I could see her becoming part of AEW. Yes, I think it will happen.
According to reports, Sting chose the Young Bucks to be his final opponent. Thoughts?
I think that the EVPs and the owner may have used their influence to help Sting make this decision, but whatever. The Young Bucks versus Sting & Darby will be a decent match and safe for the senior citizen legend if they choose to do the right thing. It’s not who I would choose or pick for such a historic event, but it’s AEW so does what we think or want matter?
When do you reckon they’ll pull the trigger on Damian Priest splitting from TJD?
When the time is right and it makes the most sense, that’s when it will happen. Not a moment sooner.
Why do you think there seems to be so much negativity towards AEW on the internet compared to WWE? Is it simply the fact WWE is “hot” right now or just typical tribalism over the monopoly they had on the sport?
AEW gets all the negativity for two reasons. The first is the rabid tribalism where AEW and WWE fans attack each other for the most base and stupid of reasons. And the other reason for the negativity? AEW let us down. They came in full of bluster and hype, promising us great wrestling and an alternative to WWE and what we’ve gotten doesn’t live up to expectations. It’s bad on its best days and even worse more often than not. We were promised a trip to Europe and we’re getting a trip to trip to Detroit instead.
Is the fatal 4-way between LA Knight, Orton, Aj Styles, and Roman Reigns just a precursor to a Fatal 4-Way at Wrestlemania between Punk, Cody, Rock, and Roman?
While I like the idea of the 4-way leading up to Mania, it will be singles matches for the titles at the big show. A Fatal 4-Way at Mania? No, I don’t think so.
If you could take any current wrestler and put them in Attitude Era Degeneration X, who would it be?
R-Truth of course. He would add a new twist to the whole DX scene. And if not Hook, then I’d use Hornswoggle. You can never go wrong with a little person.
Sabu & RVD versus The Hardy Boyz versus The Young Bucks, all in their primes. Who wins?
It sure as hell wouldn’t be The Young Bucks. I liked the team of Sabu & RVD, but Matt & Jeff, in their primes, were damn good. I’ll go with the NC Boys on this one. Matt & Jeff Hardy win.
What big established stable would you rather see The Undisputed Kingdom fight with first, The Elite or BCC?
Are the Elite even a faction these days? Hell, are the BCC for that measure? I guess they are for the most part. Of the two options, I’ll go with Moxley, Danielson, Claudio, and Yuta.
Mace & Mansoor, formerly of WWE, recently spoke about how they would like to fight The Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin, who are currently the TNA Champion and X-Division Champion. So Mace & Mansoor to TNA? Thoughts?
If you’ll check my predictions for the TNA Hard to Kill PPV, I predicted exactly, that we’d possibly see Mace & Mansoor showing up as the possible new signings for TNA. I’d love to see it happen and a series of matches with Mansoor & Mace versus The Motor City Machine Guns would be fun to see.
R-Truth is now the Number One merch seller in WWE, over CM Punk, Roman Reigns, LA Knight, etc. Thoughts?
R-Truth is a treasure and I’m happy for him. He’s rolling in the money and that’s the truth!
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for crazy tweets and I’ll see you at the matches.
