Greetings, salutations, and how the hell are you? It’s not your Mom & Dad’s wrestling Q&A. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A, where you ask the questions, I provide the answers, and nothing is off-limits. Are you ready to do this? Let’s roll.
Arn Anderson, Steve Mongo McMichael, Roddy Piper & Kevin Greene versus Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, The Giant & Eric Bischoff. Who wins?
What a combination, right? Two Horsemen, a legend, and a football player against three members of the nWo and an Executive. This would not be a pretty sight, but the fans would pop and it would probably get a high rating on TV. And since Eric is the boss, the winners would be the nWo.
Hook versus Jinder Mahal. Who wins?
Hook may be the Handsome Young Devil, but Jinder is twice his size, has over twenty years of experience, and is a former WWE Champion. Don’t hinder the Jinder. Jinder wins.
Mickie James has joined OVW as Creative Director and Head of Female Talent. In addition, she’ll be the Executive Producer for all OVW wrestling shows, Fightful Select has learned. Thoughts?
Good for Mickie. She knows and loves the business and now has the chance, as her in-ring career winds down, to share that knowledge and help develop new talents as part of OVW. This is absolutely a good move for her and a big asset for OVW as well.
Do you have any wrestling tattoos?
Yeah, I have a big picture of Little Jimmy on my arm. It’s great and looks just like him.
Dave Meltzer on the Young Bucks: “There is no tag team in wrestling, in the last how many years, maybe even ever, but certainly in the last 20 years, there is no tag team in wrestling that is better at carrying people to good matches.” Thoughts?
I think Tony needs to go inside and quit playing in the snow. Is no tag team better at carrying people to good matches than the Bucks? I think The Usos, FTR, the Midnight Express, The Rock & Roll Express, The B-Team, etc., might all disagree. Hell,
Bully Ray says Tony Khan needs to shut up, put the phone down, and stay off social media. Thoughts?
What can I add to this? Nothing at all. Bully is 100% correct.
What kind of stipulations should there be between Samoa Joe vs Hook?
It’s a regular match for the AEW World Championship. No stipulations are needed to make this match better. Just shut up and wrestle. ‘Nuff said!
Would multiple-time AWA World Champion Nick Bockwinkel have made a good member of the Four Horsemen?
His personality, character, abilities, and history would all say to me that Bockwinkel would be a good Horsemen, but I can’t see Nick taking a backseat to Flair, nor being happy with all of the traveling that the NWA would have required of him. It looks good on paper and in theory, but in reality, Bockwinkel and the Horsemen would never have worked. Former AWA Champion Living Legend LarryZbyszko though? He’d have been damn good as a Horseman. Just saying.
Matt Hardy recently claimed that the Hardys are the Tag Team GOATS. Thoughts?
At one time, this would have been arguable, but the past few years have put a serious black mark on their careers and history. They’re one of the best of fifteen or twenty years ago, but like Ric Flair for example, they’ve tried to hang on too long and it shows.
Gable Steveson recently wrestled some dark matches at the recent Smackdown tapings and allegedly didn’t impress anyone. Should WWE keep Steveson and hope he gets better or just cut their losses and let him go? Thoughts?
Steveson has trouble connecting with the crowds and with his baggage added to the mix, the fans just don’t like or respect him. He’s a talented athlete, but he’s damaged merchandise and I don’t see that changing. I feel that WWE would be better off just cutting their losses, releasing Steveson from his contract, learning from their mistakes, and moving on. He’s just not worth it in the big picture of things to me.
Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) or Booker T and Goldust?
Are we talking about a match or just the chemistry as a unit and their legacy? It doesn’t matter. Booker T & Goldust all the way.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for deranged tweeters and foreign objects. I’ll see you at the matches.
