It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A, the P.M. edition. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

What are your thoughts on Akira Tozawa? Do you think that if he was with another promotion, he’d be used better?

Tozawa may be used more prominently in a different company, but I doubt he’s complaining very much. He’s used mainly as a comedy wrestler by WWE, but he makes good money, rarely has to take bumps, and gets used on television semi-regularly without the extra wear and tear on his body. He’s living the best life without the negative
baggage that usually comes with it.

Why did Billy Robinson never have a run with the AWA World Championship?

I don’t know. Robinson was often a top contender and challenger for both Verne Gagne and Nick Bockwinkel and he often came close but never won the big Gold in AWA. Given his reputation as a legit shooter, maybe Verne was afraid that if Robinson won the title, he wouldn’t want to give it back and then, what would they do? Or Verne just didn’t see him as a Champion. Who knows?

Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard, and Arn Anderson w/ James J. Dillon versus Jerry Lawler, Bill Dundee, and Jimmy Valiant. Who wins?

If this match was in Memphis, the Lawler-led team would win. If it was in Greensboro or Charlotte, the Horsemen would steal the win with some aid from Dillon. And anywhere else in the world, there’d be a DQ finish or a count-out with Lawler and friends getting the win, but not hurting The Horsemen in any way.

NXT North American Champion Oba Femi shared a video on Instagram advising parents to beat their children if they won’t go to church and yes, this is real. He has messed up. Thoughts?

The only place I’ve seen this reported and mentioned is in your question so is it true? If it is, we’ll probably see Femi drop the NXT North American Championship rather quickly and get buried for a while until it blows over. This isn’t as big a deal as some other potential scandals may be, but I can see some people getting mad and upset, just because they are looking for something to be mad about. Unless it blows up, WWE will probably just ignore it and if it does blow up and becomes a big story, Femi is kept out of the spotlight until it blows over.

So how about this? WWE Hall of Famer Jacqueline wants to do one last run with the company, so Jacqueline comes back for one match, against Bianca, and then sticks around as the manager for the returning team of Naomi and Sasha Banks. Thoughts?

It worked well for Trish and if Jackie can get into wrestling shape and wants to do it, let her do it. Against Bianca would be an interesting clash of styles, but it’d work. Jackie as the manager of the team of Sasha and Naomi? That, I like.

Powerhouse Hobbs recently commented about Tony Khan and his tweets, “It’s his company!” Does that man know who signs his checks or what? Thoughts?

You called it. Hobbs wants to say something, but he knows who signs the paychecks and wants to keep his job so he says nothing. Good move by Hobbs.

Should Sting & Darby win Sting’s last match and go out with a win or should they use the moment to “put over” that fresh young team, The Young Bucks? What do you think?

If Sting doesn’t win, we riot. ‘Nuff said!

Seth Rollins may have suffered a legit injury to his knee this past Monday night on RAW. If he’s legit injured and can’t wrestle for a while/needs surgery, etc., how should WWE handle this situation?

I’d crown a new champion with either an 8-man, one-night tournament or make the Elimination Chamber match for the World Championship. Either would work.

Ric Flair (in his prime) versus The Rock. Who wins?

I’m not happy with what Ric has become, but in his prime, he was the man and one of the best of all time. The Rock is electrifying, but Flair would and should win.

What are the odds of a physical WWE Hall of Fame attraction now that Endeavor owns the company?

Probably not as good as it once was with Vince and the previous ownership. Endeavor is going to consider the bottom-line costs and potential returns before making any kind of investment. Vince would be more likely to do something like that just because he wants to and can, damn the costs. It might still happen, but I’ll be surprised.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
