It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. What more do you need to know? You have questions and I have answers. Let’s roll.

The topics for Vice TV’s Dark Side of the Ring, Season 5, have been revealed. They are The Sandman, Earthquake, Harley Race, Buff Bagwell, Brutus Beefcake, Chris Adams, Sensational Sherri, Terry Gordy, Black Saturday, and Chris Colt. So which ones are you excited about? What are your thoughts about the topics for this season?

All of these topics are interesting to me and although I’m not very familiar with Chris Colt, I have heard his story and most fans will find this season very interesting. I’m surprised that Black Saturday hasn’t been covered in the past, but that one will be a must-see for me. I wonder if they managed to speak to Ole Anderson in their research. The whole season looks good and I will be watching.

So if RAW is going to Netflix, does that mean AEW won the war?

What AEW seems to be forgetting is that while RAW is tagging out, for billions of dollars, from the cable wars, Smackdown is tagging in and will be there every week to continue to kick AEW’s ass in the ratings. So no, AEW didn’t win. It’s just moving to Round 2.

I keep hearing rumors that AEW referee Aubrey Edwards will start wrestling and is penciled in to become the AEW Women’s Champion at some point. Can this be true? Thoughts?

While this wouldn’t surprise me at all, I seem to recall Aubrey, after that one six-person tag team match she participated in a few months ago, that she didn’t want to wrestle again. With that in mind, I doubt that Mr. Ed… Oops! I mean Aubrey, will be wrestling for any titles or championships, be it in AEW or anywhere else.

I never understood why people look at dirt sheets for what’s supposed to happen. Isn’t it the point to be surprised? It’s like watching movies, shows, or reading a book and trying to find out how it’s going to end. Makes no sense. What do you think?

People like to know stuff and are nosy. I’ll admit it. I want to know as much as I can, about the backstage stuff, the history, the wrestlers, and everything else. Inquiring minds want to know. ‘Nuff said!

Thoughts and memories of Master P and the No Limit Soldiers in WCW. Good idea or not?

I do remember all of this, but I won’t say the memories are good. It was a dumb story on WCW where a famous rapper, who I had never heard of before, and his Posse of about ten people were part of a story with the Filthy Animals and the West Texas Rednecks and it majorly sucked. The West Texas Rednecks did get a good song, Rap is Crap, from the story, and it made a household name out of Big Swole. Okay, maybe not on that one. A bad rapper, a bad story, and a bad idea that made for bad television. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. It was a strange time.

Abdullah the Butcher versus Bruno Sammartino. Who wins?

It would be a DQ finish to be sure with Abby using a blade or some other foreign object to attempt to bloody The Original Living Legend. Or maybe Bruno would retaliate and nail Abby with a chair across the forehead. The final call, in some way, shape, or form, would be Bruno wins.

If Bobby Heenan took the Heenan Family on Family Feud, which four members of his “family” would he take with him?

If The Brain went on Family Feud, I think he would take Ravishing Rick Rude, Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, multiple-time AWA Champion Nick Bockwinkel, and Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig with him. And they would win, of course.

So Hulk Hogan shows up at the Royal Rumble as #30, but instead of going to the ring, he brings out Axel-Mania instead and Curtis Axel goes in as #30. Thoughts?

Unfortunately, it didn’t happen, but if it had, I would have popped big time. Yes, I admit it! It would have made for great television and a great Royal Rumble moment.

Should WWE bring back the Gimmick Battle Royal, as seen at Wrestlemania X-17? If so, who would you want to see participate?

The names that come to mind that are still capable of working and maybe doing a Rumble match for me would be Curtis Axel as Axel Mania, Macho Sandow, The Great Khali, Hornswoggle, The Hurricane, Al Snow w/ Head, Drake Maverick, Santino Marella, and Goldust. Those are just the wrestlers I immediately thought of. I’m sure there are far many others who could also join the craziness. But yeah, another Gimmick Battle Royal? I’d like to see it.

Is AEW in danger of losing the #2 spot in the United States to TNA?

TNA is poised and ready to make that move to the next level to take that Number Two spot. AEW had best watch their back because TNA is coming for them.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up for now. More to come later today. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
