It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.

The Road Warriors or The Hart Foundation?

Did this match ever happen? It would be fun to see and what a clash of styles and characters! It could honestly go either way and it wouldn’t be an upset. My money though, would be on Animal and Hawk. The Road Warriors win.

If someone asks you, “Who is The Undertaker”, what do you say?

A great character from the WWE that had no reason to succeed or work, but did and did very well. An over-the-top gimmick brought to life by a talented and devoted wrestler who set the bar for every character that followed.

Since Wrestlemania is in Philly this year, how about Stevie Richards, Nova, and The Blue Meanie, aka the bWo, for the WWE Hall of Fame? Yes or no?

While I would pop for this and be a happy soul, I don’t think it’s going to happen. I am pretty sure that it won’t happen. I can see Stevie going in at some point as part of Right to Censor or for his career, but the bWo as a faction just doesn’t work.

Road Warrior Animal versus Sgt. Slaughter. Who wins?

If we’re talking Sgt. Slaughter from the early 80s and Crockett, I would go with the Sarge. But at any other point in his career, Animal would use the power game and come out on top.

News is breaking today that Billy Jack Haynes allegedly shot his wife, who was battling dementia, and had a stand-off with police. Unfortunately, the source is Hannibal. Have you heard anything about this? Thoughts?

When I first heard of this, considering the source, I was very skeptical, but since then, other more reliable sources have confirmed this news. And it’s sad. Very sad. Haynes has had mental issues for years and is not a competent or sane person in my opinion. I wish I could say that I was surprised, but unfortunately, I’m not. The details are still coming out, but given that she was allegedly in the final stages of dementia, and Haynes himself has his issues, this sounds like a mercy-killing to me. I doubt it will ever go to trial. It’s sad. Very sad!

Sting’s sons were at ringside and were attacked and beaten up by The Young Bucks after Sting & Darby won the tag titles. Does that mean that his sons will be wrestling in AEW soon with their father, Sting, as their manager, much as Arn Anderson and Brock Anderson did? Thoughts?

I haven’t heard anything of either of his sons being interested in wrestling or wanting to be wrestlers, so I’m assuming that this was just a one-off appearance to be there for their father and have some fun. If they are interested in stepping into the ring and wrestling, I can’t think of a better way than to have their Dad there as the manager/trainer. It would be pretty cool.

Which version of The Skyscrapers was superior? Sid and Danny or Danny and Mean Mark?

I preferred the team of Dan Spivey & Mean Mark Callus. Sid had a great look, but just didn’t seem right to me as part of a tag team.

So, should WWE make a deal with AEW and Tony Khan and bring Dustin Rhodes, aka Goldust, to the WWE for Mania and Cody Rhodes’ war against Roman, Rock, and the Bloodline?

WWE’s roster is so stacked right now, that they don’t need Dustin. It would be cool if they could do that, but given the back and forth between Tony Khan and WWE, it would take a lot of money and back and forth between the two companies to make this happen. I’m sure that at Mania, though we’ll never see them on camera, Dustin, Ricky Starks, and probably QT Marshall will all be backstage to show their support for Cody.

So this whole deal with The Rock started when he confronted Jinder Mahal on WWE RAW a few months ago. So how about Jinder being the one to interfere and keep the Bloodline from interfering in the Roman/Cody match at Mania? Then we could get a good Jinder/Solo feud and a good babyface turn and run for Jinder after Mania. Thoughts?

I’d love to see Jinder get some matches and a push in the months to come, hopefully leading to a good match at Mania. He deserves it. But being the top mix with Cody, The Bloodline, and the Rock? I just don’t see that happening. I’d be glad if it did, but I think maybe Jinder versus Drew or Jinder versus Gunther is more of a possibility of actually happening.

Do you think AEW will still be in business five years from now? How about TNA?

I hope so for both companies, but I’ve got a bad feeling that, so far as TNA goes, if someone comes along with a good offer to buy TNA, Anthem will jump at it and unload the company rather quickly. As for AEW, so long as Tony keeps interested in it, it’ll find a way and stick around. If anything, ever happens to Tony Khan, AEW will vanish pretty quickly. I can’t see his dad keeping a wrestling company around if Tony isn’t involved. When Tony gets tired of it, AEW will be gone, be it two years, five years, or however long it takes.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe to the site. Follow me on X at @Doug28352. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
