No Chaser w/JHoody & Drunk Dane: Redneck Riviera Whiskey

The guys are back and this time, they’re going Big & Rich with singer John Rich’s Redneck Riviera Whiskey. I tried this on New Years and recommended it to Jason & Dane and here we go. My thanks for the plugs and shout-outs, plus the open invitation to one day sit in and take part of an edition of No Chaser. I’d love to do it, but to be honest, these boys would whoop my ass. My hard drinking days are long gone and I’d need a few weeks of hard training to get back into prime drinking shape and be part of the action. As Toby Keith said, I’m not as good as I once was, but once, I was as good as I ever was. Never say never, but I just need a lot of prep time so as to not get sloppy and embarrass myself.

As for the product they’re reviewing, I’ll give my own quick review. I didn’t try on the rocks or shooting the Redneck Riviera, but did have a nice little neat pour or two on New Year’s Eve. And I liked it. A little sweet, but it had a good flavor, didn’t take my breath away on the first swallow, and was rather pleasant. And it’s only twenty bucks so how can you go wrong?
