It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m your Guiding Light and party host, Doug. You have questions and I have the answers. Let’s roll.

The Ultimate Warrior & Sting versus The Road Warriors. Who wins?

Why is this even a question? Sting and Warrior both had great careers as individuals, but the Blade Runners, as a tag team, never was quite a must-see attraction. This one goes to the Road Warriors.

Matt Hardy’s AEW contract is due to expire this month. Do you think AEW will renew his deal or will Matt move on? If he’s not All Elite, what do you think is next for Broken Matt?

I think AEW might keep Matt around, give him a regular paycheck, and lowball him on the money, but keep him around for his knowledge and experience. I don’t expect him to be a featured talent on AEW television or events, but I think he’ll remain part of the roster for at least a few more years.

Would you like to see Sheamus go to AEW?

It would be interesting to see, but I think if it did happen, AEW would misuse him and within a matter of weeks, he’d be just another guy, despite his history and the experience he brings to the table. I hope that Sheamus stays in WWE for a while longer and when he finally exits the ring, he can work as an agent or trainer.

Jim Ross said on Grilling JR that he’s signed a new one-year deal with AEW. His contract was set to expire on February 14. Thoughts?

I assumed this was the case when he showed up to call Sting’s last match, but it’s nice to have confirmation. It’s good to know that JR has a steady paycheck coming in for at least the next year. Good for him.

Who should join Paul Heyman and Bull Nakano in the WWE Hall of Fame?

As I’m writing this, The U.S. Express, aka Mike Rotundo & Barry Windham, has been added to the list. Additional names I’d like to see are The Midnight Express with Jim Cornette, Lex Luger, Demolition, and Victoria.

Ryback recently referred to Paul Heyman as a ‘terrible human being’. Thoughts?

Pot meet kettle. Ryback is such a huge piece of garbage, he has no right to talk about anyone. Yes, we all know Heyman is not a great person and has a shady past, but Ryback isn’t the one who can call him out on it. People in a glass house, right?

Thoughts on NXT star Charlie Dempsey? Should his father, William Regal, be his manager?

I finally got a chance to look up and watch a few of Dempsey’s matches and the dude is very good. He’s a chip off the old block and his resemblance to his father is uncanny. So far as Regal being his manager, I would say no. Dempsey doesn’t need a manager and Regal has other duties and roles he can play.

Does Miss Elizabeth belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

She was a prominent figure in professional wrestling in her era and has left a legacy to be proud of, so I would say yes. I don’t think it will happen unless it’s under the Legacy Wing, which would be fine with me. She does deserve her flowers.

Matt Koon, the former co-host of Dax Harwood and William Regal’s podcasts, has recently been on a tirade about how much of a “racist and homophobe” Jim Cornette is and how all of his listeners/supporters are just as bad. Have you seen this? Thoughts?

I like Koon and follow him on Twitter, but it seems over the past few days at least, he’s gotten a wild hair up his ass and every woken aspect of his personality has blown up out of control. It seems as if he’s invoked his inner Meltzer and is just arguing for the sake of arguing. Hopefully, he’ll get it out of his system and calm down eventually. He seems like a cool dude, but at least for the past few days, he’s been kind of hard to listen to.

Samoa Joe versus Wahoo McDaniel. Who wins?

Joe in his prime versus Wahoo in his prime, this would be a brutal and stiff match. Chests would be bleeding and I’m sure that more than one potato would be exchanged. It would be bowling shoe ugly, but the fans would love it. I think Wahoo would win.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up and call it a day. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for Dutch Manell and shoe-baby. I’ll see you at the matches.
