More of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Don’t say I don’t love you, Peeps. I’m your party host and Guiding Light, Doug. And this is how we do it. Let’s roll.

Bret Hart feels that Barry Horowitz should be in the WWE Hall of Fame instead of Bill Goldberg. Yes or no?

While I would not have a problem with Barry Horowitz being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at some point, he’s not going to replace another wrestler already inducted. Bret Hart doesn’t like Bill Goldberg. We get it already. Sheesh!

Bull Nakano versus Asuka. Who wins?

Bull Nakano was a groundbreaking legend in Women’s wrestling and is an iconic figure in Japanese professional wrestling. Asuka is a former NXT and WWE Women’s Champion and one of the top women in professional wrestling today. I think Asuka would take the victory here.

Who do you think is more likely to turn on their partner, Seth Rollins or The Rock?

Of the two, I think that especially after the Rock’s attack on Cody last night, Seth is the more dubious of the two men. Let’s go with the current WWE World Champion.

Dom Mysterio versus Shawn Stasiak. Who wins?

Shawn was much better than most people tend to remember or give him credit for, but Dom has Mami at his side. Dom wins.

You get one of these guys in their prime for 20 years to start a wrestling promotion with. Who are you choosing? Bret Hart or Kurt Angle?

It would be Kurt Angle. Bret is a great wrestler, but he isn’t nearly as versatile as Angle, either in the ring or on the mic. Bret has one character and that’s Bret Hart. Kurt can do serious, comedy, and everything in between. For building around and using as a base for a wrestling promotion, Kurt Angle would be, by far in my opinion, the better investment.

With all of her recent complaints about the WWE, is Rhonda Rousey turning into a female version of Ryback?

While her comments come across as bitter, there is no way in hell I’d compare Rousey to Ryback. Rousey gives praise as well, especially to Triple H, plus she’s actually competent in the ring and made money for the WWE. She put butts in the seats. She was over. Was Ryback ever truly over and did he matter in the big picture of things in WWE? Not really.

Is Swerve Strickland ready to be the world champion of a major promotion like AEW?

While I get the hype on Swerve and he’s come a long way in a short time, I just don’t see it. He’s a talented wrestler, but I don’t see the big-star appeal or charisma there. Maybe I’m just missing it and I’m wrong, but he doesn’t stand out to me as someone to build around as the face of a company or champion.

How would you rehab the Trios titles? I know they seemed destined for a title unification with the ROH Six-Man titles but then what? This division used to be hot but cooled before the belts were even introduced. Are they finished?

I’m not sure what could be done to make the Trios or Six Man titles seem relevant. AEW has too many titles as it is and with the lackluster booking and lack of stories to make us care, the belts are just that, belts. How to make them better? Has there ever been a Best-of-Seven series between two teams to unify a tag team championship? Maybe they could try that. I don’t really know.

So Drew beats Seth at Mania. CM Punk leaves the announce table and lays out Drew with a GTS. Damion Priest comes out and cashes in the MITB contract on Drew. Thoughts?

It sounds good to me or as good as any other crazy booking idea I’ve heard. Book it, Triple H.

Bronson Reed pinned Sami Zayn on RAW. Should Reed be added to the Zayn versus Gunther match at Wrestlemania?

It’s as good a reason as any to make the match at Mania a multi-man event, but since there will already be a Triple Threat match for the United States Championship, I can’t see WWE doing two matches with the same stipulation on the same show. Most likely, if Sami manages to win the IC title at Mania, this victory will just cement and establish Bronson as his number-one contender.

Do you think Matt Hardy will end up back in WWE?

WWE would use him far better than anything that AEW has done in the past couple of years. I’m sure of that. Matt will do what’s best for Matt and I can well see a move back to the WWE and a gradual transition to a role as a trainer or a producer. Whether it happens or not, we’ll just have to wait and see, but if Matt does go back home to WWE, I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
