Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers for a few of them. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.

If you could recommend one B&W movie to a person who dislikes them, what would it be?

I’d either go with the original Dracula, starring Bela Lugosi, or East of Eden, starring James Dean. Both are excellent films that I think everyone should see at least once.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I don’t know if I’d call it love or not, but getting a vibe when you first meet someone and just knowing that you want to have them in your life and they make you feel all sorts of ways, I know that’s real. Usually, it’s just lust, but sometimes, it transcends that and it’s love. So that would be a yes?

What do you think of women proposing to a man for marriage?

I don’t see anything wrong with it. Sometimes, men need help making a decision or taking that next big step so the woman has to do it instead. It’s all good to me.

What do you like to do for fun that you do not do much of anymore and why?

I like to walk and explore, be it around the block, at the local college, at Walmart, or anywhere. I don’t do it anymore because I had a leg amputated and the foot on my good leg has some issues as well. I’m just not physically able anymore and it sucks!

Who is your all-time favorite stand-up comedian?

My all-time favorite covers a lot of ground and I have a lot of favorites who never fail to make me smile or laugh. George Carlin, Don Rickles, Johnny Carson, Rodney Dangerfield, Chris Rock, Brad Williams. All of these men would be considered favorites. But all time? Let’s go with a true legend and icon. Let’s go with Joan Rivers.

What’s a simple pleasure you enjoyed this week?

I’ve been majorly stressing all week for a lot of reasons, but I did have a moment where a certain very special dude sang me a song and then gave me a bone-crunching hug that never seemed to end when I started getting emotional. He didn’t say anything, but just that hug. I needed it badly. So there you go.

How old were you when you went to your first official rock concert?

My first official concert was Charlie Rich and Willie Nelson and I was 14. I wouldn’t consider that a rock concert though. It was a good show. I think I was like 20 or 21 years old for my first real rock concert. It was to see Ted Nugent and KISS. I won tickets on the radio and my friends and I loaded up in my truck to go to the show. What memories and stories? It was epic.

What is something you believe in that most people don’t?

I believe that our world is far more advanced than we’re allowed to believe and things like contact with alien life forms, other dimensions, odd abilities, the supernatural, etc., are all real. It’s just not general knowledge and is kept from the general population by our “leaders” and the powers that be.

Shooting stars or lightning?

Shooting stars are cool, but I’m a big fan of major storms and lightning, so long as I don’t have to be out in it. Weather is an amazing thing.

Is there anyone in your life you wish you had met sooner?

I can think of a few people, but no one who I care to actually name here. He knows who he is and damn it all, I think I’m falling in love. We’ll just have to play it out and see how things go.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at Uber Goobers.
