Happy Easter Sunday. I hope all are doing well. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m your party host and Guiding Light, Doug. No, I’m not the Easter Bunny. Let’s roll.

How are we feeling about Jade Cargill’s first appearance as a SmackDown Superstar?

It was a decent debut that made Cargill look strong without actually doing anything. Jade just has that star quality about her, but WWE is playing it smart, using the less is more approach to prepare her for a big push and hopefully long career with the company as one of their top talents. This was a good way to keep it going and start.

Ryback recently claimed that Triple H had an affair with former WWE Diva Kaitlyn and that there’s probably an NDA out there about it. Thoughts?

Consider the source. If Ryback says that Wrestlemania is this upcoming weekend, you’d still better check your calendar because he’s probably lying. Did Triple H and Kaitlyn have a fling? Who knows and who cares? I sure as hell don’t.

Who is your favorite wrestler in TNA?

Is Heath still with TNA? No, I think his contract expired. Let’s go with a dude that I think has a lot of talent and a big future ahead of him. I’m saying Alan Angels.

Is Drake Maverick, aka Rockstar Spud, still part of the WWE?

The last that I heard, he’s still part of WWE as part of the Creative Team. He was fired during the last Vince McMahon termination spree, but then Triple H brought him back into the fold.

Solo Sikoa is now 0-34 since defeating John Cena. Thoughts?

This sucks for Solo and he deserves better, but then again, his role, more often than not, is outside the ring and as the Enforcer of the Bloodline. He’s not there to win matches, but instead to do the Bloodline’s dirty work and be muscle. Arn Anderson also lost more matches as a singles star than he won as a member of and the Enforcer of the Four Horsemen. Maybe WWE is just trying to use Solo similarly. Yes, it sucks, but it doesn’t appear to be hurting Solo’s credibility or reputation as a character and tough guy, so we can’t stress it. I’m sure that WWE has a reason.

Does Cyndi Lauper belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Yes. No explanation is needed. Just yes!

Jon Moxley is the new Steve Austin. Yes or no?

Someone needs to stomp a mudhole in your ass and give you a stunner or ten just for that comparison. Moxley wishes he was Stone Cold. He’s not.

Would Umaga have been WWE Champion, had he not passed away?

Umaga, real name Eddie Fatu, had been released from the WWE in June 2009 and was working for the Independents when he passed away in December of the same year. So I think it’s safe to say that if Umaga had lived longer, he probably wouldn’t have been WWE Champion. He wasn’t even working the for company when he passed.

Should WWE bring back Tyler Breeze as the manager/spokesperson for Pretty Deadly?

It’d be a fun pairing and I think Breeze would work well with Elton Prince and Kit Wilson. The promos would be incredible. Breeze is only 36 years old though and I doubt he’s ready to move into a full-time managerial role, but who knows? Breeze is under contract to the WWE as the co-host of the UpUpDownDown YouTube channel with Xavier Woods so he would be available if WWE decided to bring him back to the main roster and use him in that role.

According to Shawn Michaels, Kevin Owens keeps bothering him to come back for “one more run”, with Owens wanting a feud with the Heartbreak Kid. Would you like to see HBK back in the ring against Owens?

While it would be a fun match and battle of promos, I think Owens needs to let this one go. HBK hasn’t wrestled in many years and also recently had some surgeries to repair some nagging injuries. It’s a nice idea and a fun match to think about, but I doubt the reality could match the hype and it would be a disappointment. I don’t think this one will, nor should it, ever happen.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Take care and be well, my friends. Let’s wrap things up. Happy Easter and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
