It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m your Guiding Light and Party Host, Doug. Let’s roll.

Will there be any ramifications for Kenny Omega speaking out?

While I’m sure that Matt and Nicky aren’t happy, I doubt that Kenny will have any kind of problems or feedback because of his comments. Tony Khan might not be happy either, but it’s Kenny and whatever he decides to do, it’s okay.

Any chance that Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, or Becky Lynch leave WWE?

There is always a chance, but I don’t see it happening. Becky is the new WWE Women’s Champion while Seth is at home, getting paid very well while he recovers from injuries. And Drew is teasing a story with Sheamus while waiting for CM Punk to be cleared so they can feud. I seriously doubt anyone is going anywhere.

Do you think that the Hardy Boyz will return to the WWE?

At some point for an induction to the WWE Hall of Fame, I would say yes. I also would not be surprised to see Matt show up as part of a Wyatt 6 faction. He may be working for TNA right now, but he’s a free agent so anything is possible. All of that being said though, unless it’s just for a one-off appearance, I don’t see the team of Matt & Jeff Hardy ever having a run with WWE, as full-time in-ring competitors, again.

Hook LOST to Chris Jericho. Thoughts?

Tony Khan bad booking. That’s all I can say. I guess HOOK made someone mad backstage and has to be put into his place. Either that or Chris Jericho is threatening to show incriminating photos of Tony to the public and Tony wants to keep Jericho happy. I don’t get it at all.

Dutch Mantell versus Ron Simmons. Who wins?

This would be a strangely fun and competitive match. It’d be an interesting contrast in characters and styles. Dutch would put up a fight, but in the end, the power of Ron Simmons would take the victory walk to the pay window. DAMN!

When did you become a Cody Rhodes fan?

I think Cody’s move to AEW and his role in helping them get started was the turning point for me. I’ve always liked Cody and thought he was a cool dude, but he didn’t stand out for me as a performer until he got away from WWE and spread his wings away from the Dashing One to take it to the next level. With the original All In, Cody took it up a notch and became The American Nightmare.

Does Chad Gable have what it takes to be a top guy in WWE?

While I can’t see Gable as the WWE Champion due to his size, I can easily see Gable as the Intercontinental or United States Champion. He’s good on the microphone and amazing in the ring. He won’t be the top guy, but the upper mid-card is a possibility.

Who betta? Thoughts on Chris Kanyon?

Very underrated both in the ring and on the mic as well. Kanyon was an excellent wrestler and talent but seemingly had some personal issues that kept him from reaching beyond a certain point. Kanyon was a very charismatic and cool dude.

Does the WWE Draft matter?

To help build different identities and differentiate between the two brands, the draft is a good tool. It sets the three brands apart and kind of builds the core of each show and allows the fans to have an idea of what to expect. Yes, it does matter.

Scott Steiner, X-Pac, Rikishi, and Sgt. Slaughter w/ Trish Stratus versus Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, D-Lo Brown, and MJF w/ Lita. Who wins?

Who came up with these teams? What odd combinations. It’d be an all-out brawl and the match would be bowling shoe ugly. The Orton-Cody-D-Lo & MJF team would win.

WWE released Veer. Thoughts?

All of that time “Coming to RAW” and then when he finally got there, he was rarely used and now he’s gone. It sucks for Veer, but maybe he can find a spot with TNA or AEW and reinvent himself and eventually come back to WWE. He’s a big dude and has a lot of potential, but WWE seemed to have dropped the ball more often than not. Hopefully, he’ll be okay and do well.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Questions, comments, and thoughts are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap this up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
