Are you ready to talk pro wrestling? It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m your party host and Guiding Light, Doug. Let’s do this.

Samantha Irvin is the best ring announcer since Howard Finkel. Agree or disagree?

I will agree that she’s very good at her job and brings a strong presence and energy the likes of which we haven’t seen in quite a while. But the best since The Fink? Lilian Garcia, Dave Penzer, Justin Roberts, and Gary Michael Capetta might disagree.

Jim Cornette praised Samantha Irvin. Irvin said thank you. And Twitter has blown up blasting Irvin for supporting a racist. At least she wasn’t wearing a red jacket or carrying a tennis racket. Thoughts?

The wrestling fans can be a fickle and tribal bunch of idiots at times. Corny said she was good. She said thank you. And everyone started to lose their freaking minds. It’s times like this that make me embarrassed to be a fan of professional wrestling.

Awesome Kong & Chyna versus Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair. Who wins?

Bianca and Jade are impressive, but Kong and Chyna would get the win for this match.

Remember Legend’s House on the WWE Network? If you could stick nine wrestling personalities together in a house and film it 24/7 for three weeks, who would you choose?

Right off the top of my head, I’d say, Missy Hyatt, Ivory, Mick Foley, Val Venis, The Sandman, Tony Atlas, Stevie Ray, Juventud Guerrera, and Disco Inferno.

Sammy Guevera’s suspension is apparently over in AEW. How should AEW write Sammy back into the stories and against whom?

Writing him back into the stories is easy. He just needs to show up on Dynamite or Collision and answer Adam Copeland’s Copeland Challenge. Or he could come to aid Hook against Jericho and Big Bill.

Name a wrestler/topic that should be covered in the next season of Dark Side of the Ring.

Right off the top of my head, how about the story of Chris Kanyon? Missy Hyatt is another who has an interesting story to tell.

Chuck Taylor’s AEW in-ring career may legitimately be over. Thoughts?

I hate for any wrestler to have their career end prematurely due to injuries, that sucks especially bad. I haven’t seen any kind of notice as to what the injury is, but I hope he can make a recovery, and rumors of his career demise are premature and wrong.

Kane is all but retired, doing his Mayor thing, but if he were to come back for one last match, who would you pick as his final opponent?

Looking at recent pictures of Glen Jacobs, I doubt he’s in the physical shape for a final match, but I guess that body suit that Kane usually wears would disguise most of that, at least for a short match. So who would make a suitable opponent for the Big Red Machine? How about Bronson Reed? Either he or LA Knight are the first two that popped into my head. Reed if Kane is going over or Knight if Kane is doing the honors of the job on the way out.

According to Meltzer, Damion Priest may not have an opponent or match for the King of the Ring PLE since all the top guys on RAW are already involved in other things. So if Priest defends the title, who should his opponent be?

I have faith in Triple H and the WWE Creative Team that a suitable title defense and opponent for Damion Priest will be found before the WWE heads to Saudi Arabia for the King and Queen of the Ring PLE. As for his opponent, my suggestion would be since the other main event is WWE Champion versus United States Champion as Cody takes on Logan Paul, how about Priest versus the current Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn?

Cody Rhodes’ next challenger for the WWE Championship is U.S Champion Logan Paul for the King and Queen of the Ring event. Thoughts?

This is allegedly title versus title and it will be a good match. Paul makes a good opponent for Cody and I have no doubts that this will be a total banger of a main event for the Saudi PLE.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up for now. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
