Tossing Salt Review:
Limited Edition Peach Pepsi

It’s that time of year again and Pepsi has come out with some new flavors to spice up the summer months. And one of these new flavors, a limited edition, of course, is a peach flavor.
It’s readily available at all the local stores and when I came across it yesterday afternoon, I knew I had to give it a try. I also bought a bottle of the Limited Edition Lime flavored Pepsi, but I’m saving that one for later. Right now, it’s all about the peach.
And I was not impressed. It was tolerable, but the flavor I tasted, wasn’t the sweet savory flavor I’ve come to expect from peach drinks. The smell is definitely peachy, but the taste. It had a weird taste that tried to be peach but just didn’t make it. I remember the Mango Flavored Pepsi from a couple of years ago and this reminds me a great deal of that product. It’s not bad, but it’s not good either. It reminded me of the peaches that have gotten too ripe and there’s a strong, dark flavor instead of what one would expect a peach to be.
Bottom line. On a scale of one to ten, I’d give it a 5. On a hot day, throw this in the freezer for a bit or put it on ice and it would relieve the thirst. But so far as being refreshing, enjoyable, and a must-have product, it’s much more of an “I’ll pass!” product instead. An A for effort for Pepsi and I’m looking forward to trying the Lime Flavored drink, but for the peach, I’d suggest giving it a pass.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Take care of yourself and be good, my friends. I’ll see you next time.
