It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. If you have the questions, I have the answers. Let’s roll.

Bayley or Lita?

If I could only have one, it’s Bayley. I’ve never been a big fan of Lita. I respect all she’s accomplished in pro wrestling, but as I said, not a fan. Bayley though is the complete package and continues to impress. It’s Bayley all the way.

Could Tony Khan capitalize on the recent split of Vince McMahon from WWE? Meaning could he possibly propose storylines that McMahon is after AEW after he lost his pride and joy, WWE?

Tony could, but Vince would never do it. Warner Brothers Discovery would never allow it. And it would be a trainwreck just waiting to happen.

Bell to bell, which of these wrestlers have had the best bell-to-bell action: Rey Mysterio, Kenny Omega, Bret “The Hitman” Hart, The Dynamite Kid, Harley Race, or Seth Rollins?

In terms of great matches, little rest in between, and consistent quality, I think I’d have to go with Seth Rollins. All of these men are good, but some of the styles were slower or more methodical. Seth rarely seems to slow down and is always moving.

Is Liv Morgan the least deserving two-time Women’s Champion?

I’m not sure how many times Kelly Kelly, Torrie Wilson, or Stacy Keibler held the belt, but in the modern era, I can’t think of anyone less deserving than Liv. I just don’t get her and find her boring. It’s just my opinion, but I don’t see how she ended up with the belt once, much less twice.

Here’s a top 10 question for you. Your top 10 greatest wrestler and manager pairings of all time?

Right off the top of my head, I’d go with the following. Jim Cornette & The Midnight Express. Paul Ellering & The Road Warriors. Captain Lou Albano & The Wild Samoans. JJ Dillon & The Horsemen. Gary Hart & Al Perez. Gary Hart & The Great Kabuki. Bobby Heenan & Nick Bockwinkel. Sherri Martel & Randy Savage. Paul Heyman & Brock Lesnar. And finally, Woman & The Sandman.

Your top 10 list of worst wrestler and manager pairings of all time?

Again, off the top of my head, I’d go with the following. Teddy Long & Joey Maggs. Jimmy Hart & Hulk Hogan. The Nasty Boys & Missy Hyatt. Paul Heyman & Curtis Axel. Paul Heyman & Ryback. Paul Jones & Ivan Koloff. Harley Race & The Colossal Kongs. Jeff Jarrett & Debra McMichael. Steve Austin & Debra. And finally, The Dynamic Dudes & Jim Cornette.

Instead of Biden or Trump, should Americans just write Jack Tunney on the ballot when they go to vote for President in November?

That would be great except for two things. The first is that Tunney was Canadian so he couldn’t be President. And the second thing is that Tunney is dead. And while dead people might be able to vote in the election, I don’t think they can run for office. Other than that, I like the idea.

Should Solo Sikoa fire Paul Heyman and bring in Meng/Haku to act as the new Wise Man for his version of The Bloodline?

With two, possibly three, of Haku’s sons as members of the new Bloodline, that would make sense. I’d like to see it.

I like Christopher Daniels but he’s not getting over as an interim EVP/GM role. I think Tony needs to bring in a new guy. Someone we all know and love who will not put up with any BS. I think Tony needs to bring in Sting. Thoughts?

I don’t think Sting wants to be involved with wrestling anymore, but if he was willing, he would be a great choice. I would much rather see Sting instead of Daniels.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for guys in referee shirts and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
