It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.
If this TNA relationship goes well, do you think it would be good to see Becky make a return by kayfabe signing with TNA, which would give them a boost in ratings and lead an angle for a loser to leave TNA against Jordynne Grace?
Becky in TNA? No, I don’t see that happening. When Becky is ready to return, it’ll be the WWE main roster, as she deserves. I could however see Drew McIntyre, who “quit” WWE this past Monday night, doing some appearances for TNA, where he was once their World Champion. TNA Champion Drew McIntyre versus WWE Superstar CM Punk at SummerSlam has a nice sound to it.
Do you think WWE killed off any chance of Drew McIntyre winning the world title shortly after last night, or do you think he still has a path once the Punk feud ends?
Drew is a three-time WWE/World Champion. There is always a path for him to the WWE or World Championship.
Should Jack Perry’s first opponent after winning the TNT title be Sammy Guevara since he has never beaten him one-on-one or in a feud?
That would be a good feud, but is Sammy a face or a heel right now? I can’t remember. Sammy is a former TNT Champion so he would naturally want to wear the title again. Sammy versus Jungle Boy? Sounds good to me.
Do you think we’ll ever see Ricky Starks on AEW television again?
At this point, I honestly don’t. I think Starks will just sit at home until his contract with AEW expires and then go to NXT.
Sabu versus Finn Balor. Who wins?
What a match this would be with Sabu in his prime versus The Demon. It’d be chaotic for sure. I think Balor would end up taking the victory.
They’re here. Thoughts on Uncle Howdy and his stable?
That was one hell of an entrance, but now I’m inclined to wait and see how things go when they start wrestling normal matches. The first impression was incredible. Now, they just have to keep it going. I’m eager to see how this all works out.
Is Bray Wyatt the sixth member of the group spiritually, or do you think there is an actual sixth member?
I do believe that Bray is the inspiration and guiding light for the Wyatt Sicks and his presence will be felt every time a member of the group wrestles or does an interview. But the sixth member? I think it’ll be a real person and will show up when SHE’s ready.
Drew McIntyre has “quit” the WWE and dismantled all his social media. Thoughts?
What is there to think about? Drew is going to lay low, wait for the proper time, and then get some revenge on CM Punk. I hate that he’s cut off the social media because Drew has been on target with the memes and tweets, but it’s all part of the story.
Seth Rollins is back. Thoughts?
I hope he’s not rushing things, but it’s good to have Seth back. Having Seth around always adds to the WWE product and makes things a little better. Welcome back, Seth Rollins.
Does ROH even have storylines anymore, or is it just wrestling?
AEW barely has stories, so to expect the B-brand, ROH, to have anything going on is definitely wishful thinking. They have some good talent, but the stories and actual reasons for the matches, are not so much.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
