It’s the evening edition of the best damn wrestling Q&A, period. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s rock!

MVP dropped accusations of racism towards Triple H in the disbanding of The Hurt Business. Do you agree with MVP and would you like to see The Hurt Business back in action as a faction?

Looking at the rosters and top stars of RAW, Smackdown, and NXT, one can not imply that Triple H is racist as we have an extremely diverse mixture of talent of all races in the top positions. Triple H is about talent and what makes the most sense, not the color of skin. In regards to The Hurt Business though, I don’t agree with that faction being split up. Lashley, Shelton, and Cedric, under the guidance of MVP, were a strong faction and money just waiting to be made. They had a ton of potential and WWE dropped the ball with that group, at least in my opinion.

Solo’s Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa versus Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman in a War Games match. Who wins?

This would be awesome. And I’d look for The Rock and The Usos to find a way to be involved as well. And the winners? I’d never bet against a group of Paul Heyman guys. The Dangerous Alliance 2.0 would find a way and win.

MJF on why he signed an extension with AEW, instead of going to WWE: “It was a very decision for me, mainly because Tony Khan is paying me an exorbitant amount of money. But outside of that, I believe in AEW and it’s where the best wrestle.” Thoughts?

MJF went for the money. I can’t say that I blame him. Better to be a rich, big fish in a small pond than just another fish in the big pond, right? MJF is young enough that barring serious injury, he’ll be in WWE eventually. He’s just reaping the benefits of having a billionaire boss right now. He has plenty of time left.

Who do you believe is pro wrestling’s greatest in-ring technician of all time?

Of all time? That’s a loaded question and there is no one right answer. Off the top of my head, let’s go with Dean Malenko.

You can disagree as much as you want, but that moment right there, when the Young Bucks showed the All In backstage footage, buried AEW to the grave. One of the craziest backfire moments in the history of wrestling. Yes or no?

I don’t agree that it buried AEW into the grave, but to say that moment inflicted some damaging wounds to the company, I think that’s a safe statement.

Joe Hendry’s arrival in WWE now officially ranks as the highest-viewed tweet on WWE’s official Twitter in 2024. Thoughts?

Say his name and he appears. Hendry is hot right now and WWE knows it. I expect we’ll be seeing much more of Mr. Hendry in both TNA and NXT in the months to come. I’ve even heard rumors of Hendry versus Logan Paul for Money In The Bank, although admittingly, those are just rumors. I wouldn’t mind seeing that match happen though. It would be good.

Matt Hardy discussed the perfect scenario for his brother, Jeff Hardy’s WWE return: “I almost feel Jeff and I, we end up returning to WWE, do something small, and then go onto the Hall of Fame. That’s a best-case scenario.” Would that be the perfect scenario?

That would be the perfect scenario for Matt and Jeff and an extremely fitting way for these two men to end their in-ring wrestling careers. I hope that it works for them.

Ahead of MITB, Chelsea Green takes to social media to say she will start a petition to change the WWE Women’s Championship back to the Divas Championship when she wins. Good idea or not?

I don’t want to see the Women’s World Championship turn back into the Divas Championship. That title should remain as it is, dead and buried. But for Green to make this claim to want to bring it back, it’s perfect for her character. She’s creating controversy and getting herself over in the process. Good for Chelsea. Maybe when she wins the Briefcase at MITB, she can have a pink butterfly painted on the briefcase to keep the controversy going. Whatever Chelsea wants to do is fine with me. I’m sure that Matt Cardona agrees.

If the rumors of John Cena wrestling his final match at WrestleMania 41 and RETIRING after it are true, then who do you want him to face as his FINAL opponent?

It’s a tough call. Maybe we can lure Steve Austin out of retirement for this match? Nah, I’m just kidding. Since MJF re-signed with AEW, he’s out of the running too. I guess I’d go with Austin Theory, although thinking of it, John Cena versus Bron Breakker has a nice ring to it. Hmmm.

Bret Hart & Snoop Dogg versus David Arquette & Bad Bunny. Who wins?

Who is thinking of these match pairings? There is only one real wrestler in this match and although I like and support Arquette and Bad Bunny, neither of them can compare to the Hitman, Bret Hart. Arquette does belong in the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame, but that’s as far as his honors go. This match goes to Bret Hart and Snoop Dogg.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. If you’d like to have the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A as part of your wrestling group or website, give me a shout and we can make it happen. And with that, let’s close up shop for the day. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
