It’s the PM edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I figured I’d better tackle these while I’m on a roll and feeling it. I’m Doug, your resident Party Host and Guiding Light. Let’s do this.

There are rumors that Stephanie McMahon may be returning to WWE, maybe even with Brock Lesnar. Would you like to see Stephanie return?

Stephanie McMahon as an executive with WWE and maybe the occasional on-air role, then absolutely. She’s the link to the previous era and it doesn’t feel right not having a McMahon somewhere on the WWE roster. Stephanie is an asset to the WWE and is great with public relations and in outreach situations. So far as being paired with Brock Lesnar though? That wouldn’t work. When Brock returns, he needs to be either with or against Paul Heyman and in the mix with the Bloodline. The story is already there. We’re just waiting for WWE to capitalize on it and bring Brock back.

Mercedes Mone: “I love WWE but they tried so hard to not make me do the Mandalorian and put me on house shows when I was supposed to film. It was pulling teeth just to get on that show.” Thoughts?

Mercedes is playing the victim here. WWE is bad! She’s talking up a storm and not saying much, but playing up to Tony Khan and the AEW fanatics. Nothing to see here.

WCW. It has the same ring, the same look, similar graphics, and new wrestlers. 1 hour or 90-minute WCW Nitro every week on Netflix. Would it work?

It would work, but why should WWE add another show and brand to the schedule? The WCW fanboy in me would love to see it, but with Raw, Smackdown, and NXT already going on, another show and brand is the last thing WWE needs right now. They just need to focus on what they have already. That’s more than enough.

Would you like to see AJ Lee make a return at MITB and cost Drew the MITB contract?

Drew stole CM Punk’s wristband and has made comments about AJ and Larry the Dog, so it makes sense from a storyline angle. If CM Punk can’t be there due to the beating Drew gave him at RAW last week, it’s up to AJ to step up for her family. I hope it does happen and we see Lee return. It would be awesome. And hopefully, she’ll bring Larry with her as well.

TNA Champion Moose wants to wrestle NXT North American Champion Oba Femi. Thoughts?

That would be an interesting and fun match to see. Femi has the size advantage, but not by much. Moose is a tough dude and highly underrated. This would be an interesting encounter and a great way to keep the TNA/NXT rivalry alive. I’d like to see it happen.

In your experience, do most wrestling fans follow multiple promotions, or are they loyal to one in particular? Take me, for example. I’m solely WWE. Didn’t pay much attention to WCW during the Monday Night Wars, or TNA after it, and I don’t follow AEW now.

I think most fans are loyal to one promotion. Using myself as an example, I watch WWE regularly, but mainly only catch the other promotions such as TNA, NXT, and AEW on YouTube. I read recaps and follow all of the promotions because of this site and the Q&A so I might be the exception. If I hear about something that sounds good, I want to see it, regardless of what company or promotion it might be. Or if one of my favorite wrestlers is involved in something, again it doesn’t matter the name on the Marquee. But the majority of fans are, at least in my opinion, just one promotion or another.

Vince Russo recently commented that he thinks Vince and Shane McMahon could be plotting revenge on Triple H & Stephanie after being snubbed at WrestleMania 40. Thoughts?

They very well could be doing just that and want to use AEW and Tony Khan as their pawns, but I kind of doubt it. Vince and Shane have more than enough going on in their lives to worry about a perceived slight from Stephanie and Hunter. Russo is just being Russo and talking to be talking. Nothing more.

So The Rock replaces Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket and runs with Kamala Harris. Yes or no?

No, I don’t think so. The Rock would be better than either Biden or Harris in my opinion, but I don’t think any political aspirations for The Great One are coming anytime soon. The Rock picks his spots well, and right now, getting involved in national politics, would not be the smart thing to do.

What wrestling personality have you had enough of?

Liv Morgan. I know she’s popular and people like her, but truthfully, when she comes on the TV, I want to change the channel immediately. I like Judgment Day so I don’t, but she just annoys me for some reason.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
