It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.
Define Owen Hart in one word.
Remembered.
Mercedes Mone calls herself the best there is, the best there was, and the best that there ever will be. Thoughts?
She said the words, but flubbed the lines and sounded about as convincing as President Biden insisting that he’s perfectly fine and the best person to be President. She wasn’t believable at all and it’s just cheap heat. Too bad Natalya stayed in WWE. Mercedes needs a spanking for her bad performance.
So as the new Wise Man for the Bloodline, how about Brother Love? Thoughts?
While it would be funny, I don’t think it would work. I would like to see The Bloodline put Brother Love through a table though. That would be cool.
Mariah May turned on and busted open Toni Storm. Thoughts?
We all knew it was coming eventually and it was a great segment. I usually don’t like seeing the women get bloody, but this time, it worked. It made me interested and want to see more.
IF Stephanie Vaquer is going to WWE, do you think she’s straight on the Main Roster or does she have an NXT run first?
She’s already started wrestling during the WWE tour of Mexico this past weekend and it looks as if she’s on the main roster.
Christopher Daniels stripped Colton & Austin Gunn and Jay White of the Trios Championship due to injuries to White and Gunn’s attempt to use the Freebird rule to instate Juice Robinson as their third member. The titles will now be decided with a match of the Gunns & Robinson versus The Patriarchy. Thoughts?
It’s a dumb decision and angle, but we’ll at least get a good match out of it between Robinson & The Gunns and Christian’s family. The decision, given AEW’s history with titles, doesn’t make any sense at all, but the results are worth looking past the inconsistency.
What did you think of the Vince McMahon questions at the WWE presser?
If legitimate reporters are invited to a press conference, then real questions might be asked and need to be answered. I didn’t think anything of the Vince questions. WWE should have expected them and Triple H handled it well.
Logan Paul has been the WWE United States Champion for 250 days but has made only 2 title defenses. Thoughts?
I thought it was more defenses than that, but I guess facts don’t lie. Having Paul as the champion adds to the title and allows it to be viewed by more eyes than normally would see a WWE product, but it’s not fair to the other WWE talents and regular WWE fans. I expect we’ll see Paul drop the belt soon, most likely at SummerSlam.
Should John Cena be a heel for his final retirement run with the WWE?
Nope. John Cena should be himself, John Cena. Some love him and others, not quite as much, but it shouldn’t matter. Just let John be the John Cena the fans know and love and have a great final year.
Do you see Oba Femi as a heel or face?
He has an arrogance about him that says heel, but he’s not the cowardly heel one might anticipate or expect. He’s responsible and honorable, despite being overly confident. I’d say he’s a tweener who could work in either situation, be it against a heel or a fan favorite.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
