It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s do this. Let’s roll.

What are some moments that made you almost stop watching wrestling?

I honestly can’t think of any. While there were times that I had to cut back on watching wrestling due to work responsibilities, family, and life, I’ve never wanted to give it up or stop watching entirely. Even with some pretty hard stuff to watch, I’ve always known that it will get better and would keep on watching. Wrestling is my addiction, and I’m not quitting.

Solo Sikoa as WWE Champion? Yes or no?

While Solo is a great heel and doing an excellent job as part of the Bloodline, I can’t see him as World Championship material. I just don’t see him in that role.

Is Damian Priest versus Gunther worthy of being a SummerSlam main event?

I think that depends on if Roman Reigns is making a return or not at SummerSlam. If Roman is coming back, that needs to be the last image onscreen when SummerSlam goes off the air that evening. If Roman is not showing up, then Priest versus Gunther makes an excellent main event and should be the final match.

Kevin Nash versus Kane. Who wins?

Nash would tear a quad and Kane would slam him through the mat for the victory.

Brock Lesnar versus Marko Stunt. Who wins?

Brock would decimate Marko. This one would be fun to see.

Kevin Nash recently claimed that in real life, Roddy Piper was a bully. Thoughts?

Was Roddy a bully or maybe Kevin didn’t like people who stood up for themselves and disagreed with his booking or wrestling philosophy. I think Nash is wrong with this one, but since I never knew Roddy, I can’t say for sure. Maybe Piper was just a bully to Nash? Who knows?

Will Rhea Ripley Forgive Dom Mysterio for his actions with Liv Morgan?

Mami won’t stay mad at her Dom Dom for long. They’ll end up back together and take Liv down.

Did Mariah May go too far in her attack against Toni Storm?

It was a bit extreme, but looking back, I kind of liked it. We all knew that May would eventually turn on Storm. After all, this is professional wrestling we’re talking about, right? And it was impressive. A bit hard to watch at first, but it was well done and made me want more. Did it push things to the edge? Absolutely. Was it too much? Nope.

So why is there so much criticism of Marko Stunt, who is 5’3, but Rey Mysterio, who’s 5’6, is praised as one of the best of all time? Is the criticism of Stunt fair?

Look at Marko and look at Rey. Rey is an athlete who does amazing things and it’s possible to suspend your belief about Rey and his in-ring performances. Marko looks like a 12-year-old kid who has never been inside a gym and sits in front of the TV all day playing X-Box. I like Marko, but he’s not believable as a wrestler or an athlete. Rey is.

On his latest podcast, Dutch Mantell listed who he believes are the Top Ten Heels of All Time. He listed Mr. McMahon, Bobby Heenan, Roman Reigns, Ole Anderson, Sgt. Slaughter, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, Randy Savage, Roddy Piper, Abdullah the Butcher, and Terry Funk. So who would you list as your Top Ten Heels of all time?

Keep an eye on my site and you’ll find out. I listened to Dutch and I liked his list. Mine is slightly different and I’ll be writing it out in the next few days. I already have the column outlined. Watch for it.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
