TNA will present their Slammiversary 2024 PPV live this Saturday 7/20 on TNA+, PPV, and TrillerTV live from Montreal. And guess what that means? It’s prediction time. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.

TNA Champion Moose vs. Josh Alexander vs. Steve Maclin vs. Nick Nemeth vs. Joe Hendry vs. Frankie Kazarian.

Is it time to put the title on Hendry? He’s easily the most popular wrestler in TNA and would make a great TNA World Champion. I don’t think so. It’s too obvious. I do think we’ll see the belt change hands, but I don’t think TNA will go with the obvious. I think the former Dolph Ziggler, aka Nick Nemeth, is ready to take the reigns and be the face of TNA for a while. Look for Nemeth to be the new champion.

Winner and NEW TNA Champion: Nick Nemeth

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace vs. Ash by Elegance.

I’m sorry, but I still have a problem taking Ash by Elegance, aka the poor man’s Toni Storm, seriously. I liked her previous incarnation as Dana Brooke, but this gimmick doesn’t work for me, brother. Grace has been on a roll and looking great. She’s keeping that title belt.

Winner and STILL TNA Knockouts Champion: Jordynne Grace.

TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali vs. Mike Bailey.

Ali just won the belt a short time ago and has a lot to prove to the doubters and naysayers in WWE. This belt stays exactly where it is. It’ll be a great match, but Ali keeps the gold.

Winner and STILL TNA X-Division Champion: Mustafa Ali.

TNA Digital Media Champion AJ Francis vs. PCO.

How does AJ Francis even have a singles title? I don’t get this one at all. And what’s worse is that he’ll be keeping it. PCO is a tough old dude and a good wrestler, but his days as one of the top guys are, in my opinion, over with. Look for Francis to retain.

Winner and STILL TNA Digital Media Champion: AJ Francis.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Alisha Edwards & Masha Slamovich vs. Spitfire.

Alisha Edwards & Masha Slamovich defeated Spitfire, aka Dani Luna and Jody Threat, at TNA Under Seige to win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. I don’t think they’re dropping the belts to the former champions. It should be a good match, but the champions retain.

Winners and STILL TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions: Alisha Edwards & Masha Slamovich.

TNA Tag Team Champions The System vs. ABC.

The champions, Bryan Myers & Eddie Edwards, are the champions. ABC, aka Ace Austin & Chris Bey, are the challengers. This should be an excellent match. I’d like to see the champions retain, but my gut says something different. I think we’re seeing a title change with this one.

Winners and NEW TNA Tag Team Champions: Chris Bey & Ace Austin, aka ABC.

The Rascalz vs. WWE NXT’s No Quarter Catch Crew.

TNA has been winning the majority of the encounters over at NXT, so I expect we’ll see NXT take the victory here at the TNA show.

Winners: The No Quarter Catch Crew.

Matt Hardy vs. Johnny Dango Curtis.

Last night on Impact, Jeff Hardy was taken out on a stretcher, so he won’t be a factor in this match. Matt has his back against the walls and is looking for revenge. Johnny Curtis, aka the man formerly known as Fandango/Dirty Dango, will have an excellent match. He’s an amazing wrestler. But Matt is as well and when this match ends, we’ll see Dango being DELETED!

Winner: Matt Hardy.

KUSHIDA vs. Jonathan Gresham.

A good match between two talented men. I like KUSHIDA, but Gresham has been laying low as of late and needs a big win. I think Gresham takes a hard-fought win here.

Winner: Jonathan Gresham.

Mike Santana vs. Jake Something.

This might be the dark horse match of the night and could steal the show. Something is a damn good wrestler, and Santana has been long underrated for quite a while. I think it’s Santana’s time to break out and make that move towards the top.

Winner: Mike Santana.

Xia Brookside vs. Gisele Shaw vs. Tasha Steelz vs. Faby Apache.

The obligatory multi-person match to get names on the card and get the show started. All the women are talented and this will be a good match, albeit meaningless. I’ll go with Shaw as the winner.

Winner: Gisele Shaw.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Those are my predictions. So what are yours? Let me know in the comments, along with your thoughts and questions. And with that, take care and be well, my friends. Enjoy TNA Slammiversary and I’ll see you at the matches.
