Dalton Castle is out with an injury, and according to Tony Khan, he’ll be out for the remainder of 2024. Thoughts?

I saw the match and how Dalton was hit by a sloppy knee to the head by Roderick Strong, knocking Castle senseless. Things like this happen when the wrestlers only work maybe once or twice a month and don’t have regular ring time. They get sloppy and make mistakes. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Castle. Get well soon.

Would you like to see more of Jake Roberts in AEW?

Not really, no. While Roberts is a wrestling legend and could be very useful backstage in coaching and training talent, I don’t want to see him on TV. He’s old, out of shape, and it’s just hard to watch. Jake lived a rough life and the mileage is showing. A backstage role at this point works much better for me.

Nic Nemeth, fka Dolph Ziggler, is the new TNA World Champion. Thoughts?

It’s a good move by TNA and was what I predicted for this match. Nemeth is a good wrestler with a strong pedigree. He’ll make a fine TNA Champion.

Who Wins: Thunder Rosa versus Iyo Sky?

Who is the most overrated Women’s wrestler of all time?

Sasha Banks, aka Mercedes Monet’. Watching her do her thing in AEW has shown just how much she needed the WWE machine. Her matches are sloppy, her promos are terrible, and since she claims to have “Creative Control”, she can’t blame anyone else but herself. As Sasha, she was competent. As Mercedes, she’s not even that.

Are you a fan of Carmelo Hayes?

From what I’ve seen of Mr. Hayes over the past year or so, I would say not quite, but I’m getting there. His character and personality don’t do anything for me as of yet, but he’s growing on me.

Linda McMahon recently gave an update on her family, amid the whole Janel Grant situation. “We’re all doing great!”. Thoughts?

Linda is living on her own in Florida and she’s a billionaire. What would you expect her to say? She’s not going to air her dirty laundry in public, no matter what Vince says or does. She’s attractive, essentially single, and rich, plus she hangs out with some of the top politicians and leaders in the United States. For Linda, things are great.

Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced that Naomichi Marufuji who faced AJ Styles this past week will appear at WWE SummerSlam. Thoughts?

And then they walked it back and clarified that Marufuji would be doing an appearance at a different show. So no Marufuji-Styles rematch in the WWE just yet. Too bad because I was kind of wondering how they’d make it all work.

William Regal & Bobby Eaton versus Austin Theory & Grayson Waller. Who wins?

Regal and Eaton, fka The Blue Bloods, were two of the best wrestlers of all time during their era. Theory and Waller are damn good and getting better every week. This would be a fantastic match. Regal & Eaton would take the win in the end.

According to Fightful Select, streaming company Tubi is looking to start a new wrestling promotion to air on its network. Thoughts?

What I don’t get about this is that Tubi allegedly wants to start their own promotion, built from scratch, to feature on their platform. That sounds very expensive and like an impossible task. Tubi would be better off finding a promotion, already established, and take it from there. I wouldn’t mind seeing Tubi added to my sources of weekly wrestling entertainment. It’s a cool idea, but if it happens, they need to be smart about this and how they do it. I know a couple of Independent promotions here in NC that would work great in such a enviroment.
