I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A, where no topic is off-limits. You have the questions and I have the answers. A big shout out to my brother, Mike Youngblood, who has a birthday today. One of the best people to ever lace up a pair of boots and step into that squared circle. One of the hardest chops too. Love you, little bro! And now, to the questions. Let’s roll.

Kamille has been revealed as Mercedes Mone’s bodyguard. Thoughts?

At least she’s finally on AEW TV and has a role. Eventually, this will lead to a Kamille versus Mercedes feud so I’m cool with this. Kamille is a good wrestler and was the NWA Women’s Champion for a long time. This role will introduce her to the AEW fans and allow her to build her character. It’s better than what I would normally expect from AEW and Tony.

Raquel Rodriguez is expected back in WWE soon. Are you happy to see her return?

I will be happy to see her return. Rodriguez is a talented performer and was starting to hit her stride when she was forced to take time off due to illness. Hopefully, she can pick up where she left off and become a top talent in the WWE.

Delta has signed with WWE and is expected at NXT very soon. Thoughts?

Who is Delta? I had to do a Google search and she’s a female talent from Australia. She’s got a unique look about her and a strong reputation on the Australian Indy Wrestling scene. Based on what I’ve just read, she should make a welcome addition to the WWE and NXT.

Christian Cage or Mick Foley. Who has had the better career?

It’s like comparing steak and pork chops. It depends on what you like, but both are excellent depending on what you’re in the mood for. Foley won more big titles, but Christian is still wrestling and is relatively healthy. Foley has written several best-selling books, but Christian has done television roles as well and is arguably the biggest heel in AEW right now. I can’t choose between the two.

Nia Jax says if The Bloodline ever needed help, she would be happy to take that role. Would you like to see Nia as part of The Bloodline?

I would prefer Tamina, but that’s just my preference. If the Bloodline has any issues with a female wrestler and Nia helps out, that would be pretty cool. Just think, if we do get an original Bloodline versus Bloodline 2.0 feud, Jimmy Uso is married to Naomi. So, either Nia or Tamina could be added to counter her. More bang for the buck. Works for me.

I wonder if anyone still watches the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance). Should Billy Corgan give up? What- if anything- do you think he could do to turn things around?

There is still an audience for the NWA, given that they have a show on the CW App, but I think that the shows on YouTube probably reached a larger audience. It’s a good show with some good talent but far scaled down from what the WWE or AEW presents. So long as Corgan is content and happy with what the NWA puts out, he should keep on pushing and building the promotion. To turn things around, a spot on a regular TV outlet, plus the right story with the right person that draws eyes to the product. Corgan needs to capture lightning in a bottle to make it work. It just takes one person and the right exposure.

Do you think we’ll ever see a Shield reunion?

Absolutely. In about 10-12 years when The Shield is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Before then, I seriously doubt it. At least not in an in-ring wrestling capacity.

Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley versus Triple H & Chyna. Who wins?

Triple H is a bigger star than Priest, but Rhea is a much better wrestler than Chyna. Rhea & Priest have Judgment Day on their side, but Triple H and Chyna have DX on theirs, which would counter any interference. It’s a tough call here, but I think the advantage goes to Triple H and Chyna. They’d win.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. I have to go throw clothes into the dryer and start Round 2 of the laundry. Take care and be well, my friends. Have a great one and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
