So the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles were unified with the AEW Trios Championship at AEW Aero Hour in April, but now they are two separate titles again. When did this happen and why?

From what I got by going to Wikipedia when Christopher Daniels stripped the Gunns & Jay White of the Unified Championship due to White’s injury, the unification was officially over and they were two different titles again. Of course, this was never mentioned on TV or clarified, but the fans were expected to know this. Would it have been so hard to have Daniels do a two-minute promo explaining the consequences of the titles being stripped from The Bang Bang Gang? Probably not, but it’s the small things that make AEW appear amateurish and like a glorified Indy promotion rather than one of the major players.

Should Vince Russo be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

If the WWE HOF runs out of wrestlers and other people to induct, then yes, but otherwise, I would say no unless Jim Cornette can be the one to do the induction. If that’s the case, hell yes. I would love to see it.

Bryan Danielson is soon to retire from full-time wrestling. Would you add someone else to Blackpool Combat Club?

This past Wednesday, Danielson made it official that his match at All-In against Swerve Strickland was title versus career so if he doesn’t become the AEW Champion, he retires. So it’s highly likely that he’ll be no longer active as a wrestler soon. A replacement in the Blackpool Combat Club? Moxley does his own thing mostly, as does Yuta in ROH and Claudio whenever AEW needs a good match and happens to remember he’s part of the roster. They’re pretty much non-existent as a faction as it is, except for the name. They don’t need any more wrestlers added to the mix.

I keep hearing rumors that Charlotte Flair may be considering retirement. Thoughts?

Charlotte has piled up some injuries and seems to spend more time on the shelf than in the ring, but I don’t think she’s ready to call it a day as of yet. She has 14 World Championship titles to her credit, so I expect she’ll go after her dad’s record and get three more before she retires. And she’s still relatively young at age 38. I think she still has plenty of gas in the tank and is just hitting her prime.

DDP, Bam Bam Bigelow, & Kanyon versus The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Big E). Who wins?

Who betta? The New Jersey Triad would have a great match with the New Day. They match up quite well and it would be what the kids today call a banger. It could easily go either way, but my personal feeling is that, in the end, The New Day would feel the BANG! And DDP and friends would take that prestigious trip to the pay window.

Dave Meltzer doesn’t believe that Seth Rollins’ outfit on RAW was appropriate for the Punk/McIntyre feud: “There was a part of me, and I don’t care, but there was a part of me when he comes out like that, and that I’m going like ‘this is a deadly serious program and he’s making it a comedy.’. I don’t think it was the right match to do the gimmick, but he did.” Thoughts?

When I saw that referee’s shirt that Seth was wearing, my first thought was that he raided Becky’s closet and was stealing her clothes. But that’s Seth and the crazy outfits fit his character. Anyone else, it would be distracting and messed up, but for Rollins, it’s kind of to be expected.

Do you think Daniel Garcia re-signs with AEW?

No, I don’t. I think we’ll be seeing Garcia as part of NXT before the end of the year.

Goldberg versus Big E. Who wins?

If you haven’t had the chance yet, go check out Chris Van Vliet’s interview with Goldberg. It’s really good and will make you look at Goldberg from a different perspective. As for this match, it’d be fun to see happen. And Goldberg would win.

Do you think Solo Sikoa should win the WWE world title at Summerslam 2024?

No, I don’t. It should be a competitive match and make Solo look strong, but he’s not ready to be the WWE Champion yet. This match is here to keep the Bloodline story going and I don’t expect we’ll see any title switches.

Chris Jericho recently said that he believes that AEW will start beating RAW in the ratings within the next six months. Is Jericho right?

Yes, Jericho is right. Six months from now, I suspect that AEW will destroy RAW in the ratings. But then again, six months from now, RAW will not be on regular TV anymore and will have moved to Netflix. Since Netflix doesn’t reveal TV ratings or viewer numbers, AEW Dynamite has no choice, but to dominate the ratings number. So yes, there is a huge asterisk next to the claim, but Jericho is right.
