It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A, where no question about pro wrestling is off-limits. I’m Doug and I’m your resident party host and Guiding Light. Let’s rock!

Mustafa Ali’s deal with TNA is said to be expiring soon, and he’ll be a free agent again. So is Mustafa Ali going to AEW?

If Ali wants to wrestle regularly, he’ll stick with TNA. If he wants to make a big check and only wrestle sporadically, he’ll sign with AEW. We’ll have to watch and see how this all develops.

Damian Priest is pushing for a rematch against rapper Bad Bunny. Should WWE try to make this happen?

If Bunny can work it into his schedule and Priest goes over, then yes, WWE should make it happen. Given the events of SummerSlam last night, I think we’re more likely to see Priest and Bunny as a team than as opponents, but WWE should have a discussion with Bad Bunny and explore the possibilities.

Nic Nemeth recently said that he wants AJ Styles to cross the line and face him for the TNA Championship in TNA. Would you like to see Nemeth versus Styles in TNA? And who would win?

The former Dolph Ziggler versus AJ Styles would be an amazing match that I don’t believe ever happened before. And for the TNA Championship would make it that much better. Yes, I’d like to see it happen. Nemeth should win.

CM Punk says his feud with Drew McIntyre is over after SummerSlam, no matter who wins the match. Thoughts?

Given the ending of the Punk versus Drew match at SummerSlam last night, I think Punk made a mistake. The feud isn’t over. It’s only getting started and will be moving into the next phase. And I think that we’ll be seeing a lot more of Seth Rollins being involved as well. It’s not over. It’s only just begun.

Blackjack Mulligan & Nikita Koloff versus JBL & Rusev. Who wins?

Two old-school legends versus their modern-day equivalents. This match would be an instant banger and a true classic in every sense. I’d go with Blackjack and Nikita for the win.

MMA Fight: Ronda Rousey versus CM Punk. Who wins?

Rousey has a better record in MMA and there isn’t much size difference between the two. But men and women shouldn’t be fighting each other in MMA, boxing, or athletic competitions. Punk would hold back because Ronda is the ‘weaker sex’, and Rousey would get the win over her opponent who isn’t fighting back.

Thoughts on Angelo Mosca Jr. Who was the biggest Nepo-hire? Mosca or David Flair?

I barely remember Mosca Jr., but he wasn’t bad in the ring and had some skills. He only stayed in the business for a couple of years before moving on to other things. He could have had a good career in pro wrestling. David Flair? I like David and he tried, but he did not belong in a professional wrestling ring especially not on live TV or PPVs. David was only there because of who his father was and no other reason at all.

Stone Cold Steve Austin has been dropping hints about appearing at WrestleMania 41 in Nevada. Thoughts?

Wrestlemania 41 will be in Vegas and Austin apparently lives in Nevada now, so it makes sense. Maybe we’ll see a final match for the Texas Rattlesnake. I hope the rumors are true.

Has Sammy Guevera been demoted to ROH instead of returning to AEW? And why is this happening to the Spanish God?

Being sent to ROH, which has no TV, instead of being part of AEW, is a demotion, no matter how they try to spin it. I like Sammy, but I guess that he’s not getting better after several years and Tony is getting bored with him. He has a strong following so they don’t want to release him, but Tony has new toys to play with so Sammy is put into ROH for now. And the drama with Mercedes Mone, even though it was several years ago and appears to now be swept under the rug, probably has something to do with this as well. Despite the apologies and classes in sensitivity training, Mone can’t be thrilled about possibly interacting with Sammy regularly. Tony Khan is most likely just trying to keep them apart.

Describe Steve Borden, aka Sting, in three words or less.

Consistent, loyal, and iconic.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, subscribe, and comment, And with that, let’s wrap it up for now. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for Balor putting the foot on the ropes and I’ll see you at the matches.
