It’s time to tackle a few questions about the King of Sports, pro wrestling. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.

Dr. Britt Baker, just weeks after returning to AEW TV, has allegedly been legitimately suspended after backstage arguments with MJF and his girlfriend, Alicia Atout. Thoughts?

I don’t know all the details, but allegedly, Baker made comments about the MJF versus Will Ospreay match and Altout heard her and then went back to tell MJF & Ospreay what Baker said. Both men confronted her and words were exchanged. And tempers flared. MJF allegedly hit a wall in anger. And Baker was suspended. Does this sound like a bunch of professionals to you? It sounds more like kids being left alone and being childish. Baker has been fined and suspended, but she has a match with Mercedes Mone at Wembley so it doesn’t count or make any sense. It’s just typical backstage AEW craziness and chaos, and a symptom of a place with no leadership or guidance. The inmates run the asylum.

Create a wrestling faction with a singles wrestler, a tag team, a manager, and a woman. Consider it a modern-day version of the Dangerous Alliance and ready to invade a wrestling promotion. Don’t use wrestlers currently under a WWE or AEW contract.

For my manager, how about Joe Hennig, fka Curtis Axel? Axel is a good wrestler, a great talker, and would make a great manager. For the three wrestlers, being a singles star and tag team, I’d go with Heath Miller, aka Heath Slater, and PJ Black, fka Justin Gabriel, as my tag team and Alan Angels as my singles talent. My woman wrestler/valet would be Lisa Marie Varon, fka Victoria. And the name of the faction? How about The Next Day?

What are your current interest levels in Ronda Rousey having a THIRD WWE run?

If I recall correctly, didn’t Rousey announce a pregnancy a few weeks ago? If so, she won’t be back in the ring anytime soon. But once she’s able to wrestle and be cleared, I wouldn’t mind seeing WWE talk with her. Like her or not, she’s a tough-ass woman and a legit MMA fighter with a lot to offer WWE under the right circumstances.

Who needs to win more at SummerSlam tomorrow night? Drew McIntyre or CM Punk?

Given that I’m answering this a few hours after SummerSlam, the point is moot. It was a damn good match. Drew won, but Punk proved he can still go at a high level. I don’t think it mattered too much who won so long as the match delivered. And it most certainly did.

Everybody is expecting Roman Reigns to come out at the end of SummerSlam. What if Goldberg comes out instead? Or Brock Lesnar?

Another moot question because, as I mentioned earlier, I’m writing this after SummerSlam and it was indeed Roman. And yes, I popped big time. At that point in the match, I would have popped for Goldberg or Brock too. Roman was the obvious preference though and WWE delivered.

Matt & Jeff Hardy had a discussion with WWE officials earlier today in Cleveland. Does this mean they’re coming back to WWE?

Given the TNA alliance with NXT, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Matt & Jeff make an appearance in an NXT ring while wrestling under the TNA banner. Matt & Jeff may not currently be working under a WWE contract, but they’re part of the WWE family and we’ll see them again in a WWE ring. It’s not if, but more just a matter of when.

Silla Fatu has been spotted in Cleveland with WWE at SummerSlam. Are we seeing a new member of The Bloodline?

He didn’t make an appearance at SummerSlam so that’s still a question for the ages. I suspect when Roman makes his next appearance, most likely on Smackdown next Friday, we might get more answers as Roman begins to gather his forces to handle Sole and the Bloodline insurrection. We’ll have to wait and see.

Bron Breakker says that he’s ready to be a Paul Heyman guy. Would you like to see Heyman and Breakker together?

Breakker as a Paul Heyman guy? That would be very cool and a great move for both men. I’d like to see it eventually happen.

WWE says they are very open to having Ronda Rousey back in the company. Thoughts?

Again, I heard that Rousey is pregnant so I think this question is kind of moot. Besides, I literally just answered it a few questions ago. I need to work on my editing for these Q&As a little better. But it’s 3:41 in the morning so I’m doing the best that I can. If Rousey can work and is open to coming back to WWE, they should have a discussion and see where it goes.

Michael Cole recently signed a new multi-year deal to stay with WWE. Thoughts?

Cole is the voice and face of WWE and has been part of the company for nearly thirty years. Without the past restrictions on his announcing, he seems to be having fun these days and has improved quite a bit from his time under the auspices of Vince. WWE is lucky to have him and this is great news for the company, as well as for Cole. It’s good to hear.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for heel turns by those dastardly men of Judgment Day and I’ll see you at the matches.
