It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.

Overall thoughts on the ‘WYATT SICKS’ in-ring debut?

It was a solid match and debut for Rowan, Gacy, and Lumis in the ring. They had a competitive match against Gable & friends but kept their aura and image alive. A very good debut.

The Judgment Day is now Finn Balor, JD, Dominik, Carlito, and Liv Morgan. Thoughts?

That’s a pretty good lineup. It works for me.

Logan Paul was reportedly “injured in some form” during his match with LA Knight at SummerSlam. Thoughts?

Logan had a fantastic match and it wouldn’t surprise me that he got banged up a little bit. Since they’re not releasing the nature of the injury, it’s most likely kayfabe. Given the recent issues that Paul has faced on X, he may just want to be taking some time off for a while. I’m thinking that most likely, that’s the situation.

So, is Odyessy Jones a part of the New Day? Yes or no? Xavier didn’t look very happy.

Xavier isn’t happy and this is teasing a long-anticipated heel turn by Woods. Jones is there to help out the New Day and be their savior, but Woods doesn’t think they need help and is trying to save the spot for an eventual return of Big E. I wouldn’t call him an official member of the New Day as of yet. He’s just an ‘associate’.

Per Ibou, Of WP: By multiple accounts, Britt Baker called Alicia Atout a “stupid fucking bitch” after Alicia told MJF that Britt Baker was burying their hour-long match. Thoughts?

The inmates are running the AEW Middle School and the kids are acting up again. I’m already tired of this story. Baker complains about the MJF/Ospreay match. Atout runs and tells MJF. MJF throws a tantrum. Britt doesn’t break down. Principal Tony Khan and his Assistant Principals, The Young Bucks, don’t have a clue. It’s all so damn silly.

Logan Paul is suing LA Knight for malicious damage to Paul’s truck. Thoughts?

Paul might be out of the ring for a while, due to the mysterious injury, but by doing a lawsuit keeps the story alive and presents Logan as a POS heel, a role he plays very well. And now, Logan can agree to drop the lawsuit in return for a title opportunity and a chance to regain his title in a rematch. It’s all part of the story.

Who will be Bron Breakker’s first challenger?

After the rematch with Sami next week on RAW, I’m expecting to see someone step up. Maybe Sheamus? No, he’s busy with Pete Dunne. Kevin Owens would be good, as would Main Event Jey Uso as he waits for the Bloodline story to come together. Yeet!

Sources in AEW expect The Lucha Brothers to be leaving the company soon. Thoughts?

I guess they’re tired of the on-again/off-again booking that is AEW and are ready for a change. WWE is kind of overloaded on the roster right now in my opinion, but I think they’ll do fine in WWE and it’s an upward move career-wise.

There are rumors that WWE is testing the waters and may return to being the WWF again. Thoughts?

WWE may be making inquiries, but I doubt that will ever happen. The WWE brand is so well-known, that it doesn’t make much sense to attempt to change it. Also, I think the World Wildlife Fund might raise a stink if WWE were to try and change.

Is The Rock the greatest talker in the history of professional wrestling?

Some might think so, but I think Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, CM Punk, Jim Cornette, and many others might not agree. I also would not agree. The Rock is good, but the absolute best? No, I don’t think so.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for Balor putting the leg on the ropes. I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
