It’s the PM edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

Who’s the biggest wrestling icon? Stone Cold or Hulk Hogan?

Stone Cold Steve Austin might be the Texas Rattlesnake, but in the big picture of things, Hulkamania has been running wild for a longer period and truly conquered the Universe. Austin is big, but Hulk is better known throughout the world.

Nyla Rose versus Rhea Ripley. Who wins?

Nyla is a tough dude, but Mami always comes out on top when it matters. Rhea wins.

“Roman Reigns is presented the exact same way I would love to be presented. He’s presented as the man who’s the champion to have big matches at the PPVs.” – Kenny Omega talking about the way he’s been booked. Thoughts?

Kenny Omega is telling the truth about the difference between AEW and WWE bookings. Roman is booked as the star of the show. Omega was booked as just another guy on the roster—simple facts, but still very true.

AEW Rampage with 157 episodes has officially surpassed WCW Thunder! Thoughts?

And…? Look at the audience that WCW Thunder drew and the total number of viewers each week. Now look at the numbers for AEW Rampage. It’s not even close and WCW Thunder is easily the winner in that comparison.

Were the Radicals showing up in WWF the death knell for WCW?

I won’t say it was the death knell, but it certainly hurt the WCW product and drove away a huge portion of the audience. It’s not the main reason that WCW died, but it didn’t help them either.

Should Fox give Tyrus his own show?

Tyrus is awesome on Fox, working both on The Five and Gutfield. But Tyrus also works best in small doses. His show might be too much of a good thing. Better to leave things as they are and let him rotate with the other shows instead.

Was Marty Jannetty as good as an in-ring performer as Shawn Michaels?

When they started teaming up as The Midnight Rockers, Jannetty was considered the more talented of the two and predicted to be the breakout star of the team. Then, as time went on, Michaels got better and continued to improve, eventually becoming the bigger star of the two. Jannetty was as good and even better at one point, then Michaels got better, becoming the Heartbreak Kid while Jannetty stagnated.

Bryan Danielson says he’ll most likely be needing neck surgery before the end of the year. So why is he still wrestling?

That’s a good question. If Danielson needs surgery, he shouldn’t be wrestling and potentially making it worse. And why is he wrestling for the title in the main event of All-In? He’s retiring and shouldn’t be wrestling, so it’s safe to assume that he won’t be winning. Even being in this match doesn’t make sense. Danielson is his own worst enemy, it seems, and doesn’t seem to get when enough is enough. This whole situation is crazy.

Recently during SummerSlam weekend, several WWE talents including Drew McIntyre were photographed with former ROH Owner/known pedophile Rob Feinstein. Should WWE allow their wrestlers to interact with people like Feinstein?

This was poor judgment all around, but to be honest, many of the WWE talents probably didn’t know about Feinstein’s scandal of trying to meet a young boy back in 2004, only to instead be met by video cameras and the group PervertedJustice. Feinstein was never charged with any crimes, but was forced to sell his interests in Ring of Honor and was blackballed from the professional wrestling industry for a while. Allegedly, Feinstein was there under an assumed name and WWE officials weren’t aware of his presence. The talents who took pictures probably only knew that he was involved in wrestling and the generals of his career, rather than the dirty details and scandals. Everyone just needs to be more careful in the future.

Whatever happened to Vickie Guerrero? She was part of AEW and then she vanished?

Vickie was the manager for Nyla Rose but was released from her contract by AEW. Public arguments between Guerrero and her daughter made some news not long afterward and Vickie has seemingly vanished from the wrestling business since then. Vickie was a great character and could generate heat from the fans like few others so I wouldn’t be surprised to see her pop up again at some point. But for now, she’s not doing anything wrestling-related.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
