It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug and this is how we do it. No question is off-limits. You ask and I answer. And just a warning. My answers are not always politically correct. They’re just right. So are you ready? Let’s roll.

Linda McMahon says Vince McMahon’s health is rapidly deteriorating. Thoughts?

Legal issues aside, this is not surprising. Vince just underwent back surgery and recovery for a 78-year-old man from any kind of major surgery would be hard. Plus Vince is a confirmed workaholic, who was used to regularly putting in long hours in a high-pressure job. He did this for over fifty years. And then suddenly, he was retired. People don’t take well to such sudden life changes and we’ve all heard the stories about how people are fine and then retire and go downhill fast. Hell, I’m going through it myself and it’s not a pleasurable experience. If you don’t use it, you lose it, and Vince essentially lost everything important in his life. To be honest, if Vince is still alive in five years, I’ll be surprised.

Logan Paul & Dom Mysterio as a tag team. Yes or no?

They spoke of this during Dom’s interview on Logan’s podcast and yes, it would be cool. Just imagine the heat these two would generate. I wouldn’t want to see it as a long-term thing since their characters are so different and have such different agendas, but for a one-shot deal, this would make for some great television and reactions for both men.

Do you actually WANT to see Brock Lesnar back in WWE?

Yes, I do. A WWE with the Beast as part of the roster is a better WWE. Brock is a great character and there are so many places where he could be inserted and used. I would greatly welcome his return.

Thoughts & memories of Baron Von Raschke.

The Baron was such a great character. The bald Nazi, based on his appearance, was hard to take seriously, but once he whipped out that claw, he was hard to deny. The Baron was an accomplished amateur wrestler and so unique in a world full of characters that stood out. I was always a reluctant fan of the Baron when I was a kid. And when he turned babyface in the AWA years later, I was thrilled. The Baron is a true wrestling icon and legend and belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. And that is all the people need to know!

Tay Melo is due back in AEW soon. Who would you like to see her wrestle or what role would you like to see her play in AEW?

After she and Sammy Guevera had their baby, Luna, Tay had taken some time off to recover and play Mama. And now she’s ready to come back? Cool. I’d like to see her make a challenge to Toni Storm and the AEW Women’s Championship or against Athena for the ROH title. I expect that most likely though, she’ll just be aligned with her husband as the resident ROH Power Couple, with Tay serving as Sammy’s valet.

Rick Steamboat versus RVD. Who wins?

I respect the dude, but I’ve never been a huge RVD fan. Steamboat is kind of bland as a character, but the guy could work circles around almost anyone back in his day. It’d be an interesting match. I think Steamboat should win.

Thoughts on Ken Shamrock?

Shamrock was legitimate tough, solid in the ring, and not a person who you’d want to cross or mess with. Shamrock had a good career in both wrestling and MMA and still looks better now than most others. Shamrock is another who belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame but has yet to be offered that prestigious spot. Hopefully, his time is coming sooner rather than later.

Jackie Redmond or Samantha Irvin?

Why should we choose? Redmond is great in her role as a backstage interviewer, while Irvin does a tremendous job with the ring announcing. True, they’re not Mean Gene or Lilian Garcia, but both are very good at what they do.

Bronson Reed says he’s a top guy now. Yes or no?

Given that he’s taken out both Seth Rollins and R-Trutn in the past two weeks on RAW, Reed is getting a strong push as a top guy by WWE. Will it last? We’ll have to watch and see, but if Reed considers himself a top guy, I’m not going to argue with him.

Logan Paul has been named in a criminal complaint filed to French authorities over alleged “acts of aggravated cyber harassment” against Olympic champion Imane Khelif. Thoughts?

The whole deal with Imane Khelif was dumb and yes, Logan Paul did comment on it. Guess what? So did millions of others because it was a controversial situation and looked bad. It happened, it’s over, and Khelif won a gold medal in the Olympics despite having male chromosomes and beating up a much smaller woman. I guess that now, Khelif wants to play the victim and is seeing dollar signs. HE won his gold medal, but instead of enjoying it and moving on, HE doesn’t want to let a sleeping dog lie and would rather be a woken warrior. This clown is a joke and this whole lawsuit is a joke. Khelif will get some press out of this, maybe a check or two to go away, and it will be settled until the next him HE decides that the truth hurts and gets his panties in a wad. It is all so damn stupid.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for male boxers who pretend to be women and I’ll see you at the matches.
