It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. It’s the weekend. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.
The Undertaker has recently expressed the wish to have one last WWE match. If this happens, who should his final opponent be?
Given their past interactions at NXT, the most obvious choice would be Bron Breakker. Taker versus Gunther, career versus title, would be good too.
Bill Apter recently stated that he did not like the Undertaker’s WWE HOF speech due to The Undertaker’s breaking character. Thoughts?
It was a big moment for Mark Callaway and his right to be inducted into the HOF as he pleased. Apter might not have liked it, but the majority of the WWE Universe did and Taker was happy. That’s all that matters.
Who is the best Tag Team of all time?
An argument can be made for so many teams such as Demolition, The Hart Foundation, Arn & Tully, The Anderson Brothers, The Usos, and so many more, but there is no one correct answer. My personal favorites of all time are Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane, aka The Midnight Express.
Trish Stratus or Miss Elizabeth?
Trish could wrestle, be a valet, cut a promo, and fill so many roles as a wrestler and a character. Elizabeth could be pretty and stand at ringside. There is no comparison. Trish all the way.
The pairing of Mercedes Moné and Kamille has huge potential. Agree or disagree?
They do have huge potential and I’ve even heard them being compared as a team to Shawn Michaels and Diesel. Whether that potential and this partnership will amount to anything is still wait and see at this point. The potential is there, but we’ll have to wait to see if it can be fulfilled.
Would Glenn Jacobs make a good President of the United States?
I honestly don’t know, but he can’t be any worse than some of the previous holders of that office, nor any worse than some of the people who have run for that office over the past few years. I think he’d do okay.
2010 Super Cena vs 1987 Hulk Hogan. Who will you book to win?
Cena is the more rounded and better wrestler, but prime Hulkamania was the strongest force in the wrestling universe at that time and Hulk didn’t lose… to anyone. Hogan would win.
Bronson Reed versus King Kong Bundy. Who wins?
The ring would have to be reinforced and this would be a stiff match with no holds or fancy moves. Just meat versus meat. I think Bundy would score the win and get that five-count.
What surprises do you think AEW will have for the Casino Battle Royal at All-In at Wembley? Any debuts?
Shane McMahon maybe? A few of the ROH guys like Sammy Guevera, Fuego Del Sol, and Shane Taylor. And the return of Wardlow. I’m sure that the event will be packed with all of our long-time MIA favorites.
Is All In AEWs equivalent of WWEs Wrestlemania? Yes or no?
In the minds of most AEW fans and Tony Khan, the answer would seem to be yes. With events at Wembley Stadium both last year and this one, plus scheduled for a stadium in Texas next year. All In is the premiere AEW event of the year. It’s not WrestleMania in my opinion, or even The Royal Rumble or Survivor Series, but for many AEW fans, it’s the must-see event.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for attacks in the parking lot and I’ll see you at the matches.
