It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug and this is where nothing is off limits. You have questions and I’ll figure out the answers. Let’s roll.

Paige versus Liv Morgan. Who wins?

Paige, now known as Saraya, is just a shadow of what she used to be. Did you see that match with Toni Storm? Oy vey! And Liv? While I’m not a big fan of hers, the recent stuff with Dominik, Rhea, and Judgment Day has been great. Liv wins this one.

There’s a great documentary on PBS called ‘When Giants Walked Here’, about the Dorton Arena in Raleigh, NC. Have you seen it? Thoughts?

I watched it yesterday after hearing Jim Cornette do a review and it’s excellent. It brought back so many memories for me. I grew up just a few miles from the Dorton Arena and spent many Tuesday nights with my older brother and sister attending the matches. I was maybe 4-5 years old and already a fan. It’s a fantastic arena for wrestling and was also home to the NC State Fair every year. It’s on the PBS app. and I would strongly recommend anyone with a love of wrestling history to go check it out.

Sami Zayn versus Will Ospreay. Who wins?

This would be a good match and depending on the story, could go either way. I think Ospreay should win, but it would be very close and have plenty of fake finishes towards the end before we finally had a winner.

The long-anticipated Hulk Hogan biopic starring Chris Hemsworth has been scrapped. Thoughts?

This is a shame because I’d love to see Hemsworth, best known as Thor in the MCU movies, tackle the role of Hulk Hogan. He has the look and was said to be excited about the role. I guess that when Ben Affleck started talking about doing a Hogan movie, that put the final nail in the coffin of this movie. It’s been sitting in limbo for several years and was practically dead anyhow. Now we can only imagine what might have been.

Does Saraya feel like a big deal to you?

Saraya used to be a big deal, but between injuries and the bad booking that is AEW, she’s only the barest shadow now of what she once was. She would be best off, in my opinion, to go ahead and retire.

At what moment did the fans start turning on Chris Jericho?

It’s hard to pick a single moment because Jericho has always had a love/hate relationship with the fans and every time he’s been counted out, he finds a way to reinvent himself and come back stronger. I think though, that the Jericho Appreciation Society might have been the turning point. Or maybe it was the musical number with MJF? I don’t know, but I think Chris has burned bridges with most of the fans and the reboots aren’t working anymore. Jericho is one of the all-time greats, but at this point, I think he’d be more productive and helpful behind the scenes than in the ring.

Do you think WWE will get more hot with the move to Netflix or does it stay about the same as now?

WWE is on a major roll right now so it’s hard to imagine things getting hotter, but with Netflix, the restrictions will be less and I expect to see them turn things up a notch or two. I think they’ll get hotter if that’s even possible.

Do you think Bron Breakker will be a top 3 star in WWE within the next three years?

WWE has such a strong roster with so many top stars, that it’s hard to put a label on anyone as the ‘Top 3’ or anything of that nature. I think Breakker will be one of the top names and a major player in many main events. His place in the overall picture of things will change from time to time, but he’ll be a major player and a star.

Is CM Punk currently the best on the mic in WWE?

The best? There are so many good talkers right now in WWE, such as Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns, etc., that no single person can be called the absolute best. He’s damn good on the mic and gets his point across. As for being the best, that point is arguable.

Are you a fan of American Made (Chad Gable, The Creed Brothers, Ivy Nile) so far?

I’ve enjoyed almost everything Chad Gable has done in the past six months or so and aligning with the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile was a good move. All are very talented and seem to get better with every appearance. So yes, I am a fan.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up for now. I think I need to go for a ride. Damn cats! Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
