Thoughts & Predictions

Tonight in London, England, it’s AEW All In: London. It’s the AEW equivalent of Wrestlemania and their biggest show of the year. That means predictions. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway vs. Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii. The winning team will choose the match stipulation between Nightingale and Statlander at All Out.
If it was just a normal match, it would be Willow & Ishii getting an easy win, but since the match determines the stipulation for All Out, I don’t think that will happen. We’ll see Hathaway take a major beating, but then shenanigans in the end will allow the heels to win.
Winners: Kris Statlander & Stokley Hathaway
“Timeless” Toni Storm (AEW Women’s Champion) vs. “The Glamour” Mariah May.
This match has had more build than anything else on the show and should be a very entertaining match. May has been a psycho and Toni, she’s out there too. I smell a title change.
Winner and NEW AEW Women’s Champion: Mariah May.
MJF (US Champion) vs. Will Ospreay.
Is Ospreay coming to his home country and a stadium show to lose? We all know better than that. A title switch here and then a rematch at All Out. That sounds like a plan to me.
Winner and NEW US Champion: Will Ospreay.
Jack Perry (TNT Champion) vs. Darby Allin – Coffin Match.
Look for Darby to jump off some high objects and be bloody. As for Perry, he comes back to the site where he literally told the company to screw off. Darby is more about the big spots than any championship. Both men will be battered and bruised. I think the champion will retain.
Winner and STILL AEW TNT Champion: Jack Perry.
Mercedes Moné (TBS Champion) w/Kamille vs. Britt Baker.
This should be a good match. Baker has been great since her return and while Mone sucks with the promos, she can be a good wrestler when properly motivated. Look for Kamille to get involved in the finish and cost Baker her opportunity. Mercedes retains her title.
Winner and STILL AEW TBS Champion: Mercedes Mone’.
Casino Gauntlet for a World Title Match.
The big question here is who will debut and be the big surprise? Prince Puma, aka Ricochet? One can only hope. The winner though will be Hangman Adam Page.
Winner: Hangman Adam Page.
Chris Jericho (FTW Champion) w/Large William) vs. Hook If Hook loses he can never challenge for the FTW title again.
If Jericho is serious about helping to make stars, this is his chance. Look for Hook to choke out Jericho in about twenty seconds.
Winner and NEW FTW Champion: Hook.
The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) (AEW Tag Team Champions) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) w/Billy Gunn).
FTR won last year at this event, defeating the Young Bucks, so I don’t expect them to win again. The Acclaimed are possible, but they have cooled off quite a bit over the past few months and don’t have any momentum. I don’t want to see the Young Bucks win, but it makes the most sense.
Winners and STILL AEW Tag Team Champions: The Young Bucks.
The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne) (Trios Champions) w/Mother Wayne vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn) vs. House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) vs. Pac and Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta).
It’s a ladder match so look for plenty of insane spots and crazy moves. Any of these teams can win and it won’t be an upset or disappointment. I think the House of Black needs it more than anyone else so let’s go with them for the victory.
Winners and NEW AEW Trios Champions: The House of Black.
Swerve Strickland (AEW World Champion) w/Prince Nana) vs. Bryan Danielson.
Swerve is hotter than ever. Danielson needs neck surgery and is working without a contract. So obviously, Danielson gets one last big hurrah and wins the title, forfeits it on Dynamite next week, and the main event of All Out will be Swerve versus Hangman Adam Page to fill the title vacancy. That sounds like a plan to me.
Winner and NEW AEW World Champion: Bryan Danielson
And there you go with my predictions for AEW All In: London. So am I right, wrong, or somewhere in the middle? Let me know with your comments, thoughts, and any questions. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
