It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug and we’re still trying to catch up. Let’s roll.
Sid Vicious passed away. Thoughts and memories of Psycho Sid.
I was never a huge fan of Sid, but the man had the perfect look and body. He was the model for what every professional wrestler should look like. The man had a presence like few others and a good career. Prayers and condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Psycho Sid. The man truly did rule the world.
Do you think Roman Reigns will ever get his original Ula Fala back?
At some point, it’s inevitable. Yes.
When will Alexa Bliss return?
When she’s ready, and WWE has something in mind for her to do. I’m thinking around time for the Royal Rumble event.
Thoughts on AEW All In. Rate it on a scale of 1-10.
On a scale of 1-10, I’d give it a 7. There were some good matches, but in wrestling, generally less is more and it had over a hundred wrestlers booked to appear… on one show. That’s too much and tends to be more confusing than memorable.
LA Knight will hold an open challenge for the U.S. Championship on SmackDown in Germany next week. Who’s answering?
I was Ludwig Kaiser and it was a good match. I would have liked to have Alex Wright show up and answer the challenge, but no major complaints.
I decided to listen to WOR for some reason. He always refers to “fraud podcasters”. Who is he referring to?
It’s Meltzer so who truly knows for sure? My guess is anyone who doesn’t agree with Meltzer or criticizes AEW.
I was told before Okada came to AEW he was the best wrestler in the world. Why can’t he draw then?
Okada can’t draw because he’s part of a company with bad booking, no stories, and a delusional leader who is clueless as to what creative wrestling can and should be. Also, perhaps his style isn’t quite as entertaining to the majority of the American fans and he’s not living up to the hype.
TRUE or FALSE: Bron Breakker should’ve already won a WORLD title by now.
False. Breakker is still very early into his career and there will be plenty of time for him to capture World Championships. There is no need to move too fast and destroy a good thing.
Who is on YOUR Pro Wrestling Legit Bad Ass Mount Rushmore?
Off the top of my head, it would be Haku, Harley Race, Brock Lesnar, and Rick Rude.
So AEW is committing arson and burning down a house as part of a wrestling angle? Really? Thoughts?
And the funniest part about all of this is that the house that Adam Page ‘burned to the ground’ wasn’t the same house that Swerve Strickland grew up in and was showing off on Twitter earlier in the day. Different houses, but we’re not supposed to notice that. AEW has officially jumped the shark with this bonehead angle. My thoughts? Stupidity and moronic booking, period.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
