I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.

Steven Borden looks to have a great set of guys training him. How would you like to see the son of Sting presented in AEW?

Honestly, I’d like to see Steven Borden learn and train somewhere out of the spotlight, like perhaps the PC Center and WWE, or maybe under the guidance of someone like DDP. It may just be me, but I see another David Flair situation waiting to happen where Borden is put out too quickly and before he’s ready.

Which promotion will do a large-scale PLE in Mexico first? WWE or AEW?

Between the two, I think WWE will make that move first.

Do you see Christian cashing his title shot at All Out or Wrestle Dream?

Christian will cash out when it’s the best time and he’s ready. All Out seems too rushed, so I’ll say most likely Wrestle Dream.

With this Friday being a “Friday Night War” what surprises do you expect from both WWE And AEW?

WWE will put out a few surprises, but will generally be just another show. AEW will be a confusing mess. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the return of Roman or maybe even a Heyman tease for Smackdown. For AEW, let’s go with an appearance by Sting.

What current wrestler needs a manager?

Baron Corbin is coming to mind. The man has incredible skills but seems to have fallen into limbo as of late. A pairing with a proper advocate could work wonders.

Am I the only one who wants to see Oba Femi wrestle Marko Stunt? It’s an unexpected dream match for me.

I’ve never even thought about this until I saw this question. And yes, it would bring a smile to my face.

Hulk Hogan Says He Signed A Five Year Deal With WWE. Thoughts?

Being an ambassador for the WWE product is a good move. Hogan has plenty of issues, but he’s still the biggest star in pro wrestling history. Hogan has more positives than negatives in the big picture of things and used properly, can still be valuable to the company.

Kevin Kelly & The Boys are suing AEW. Thoughts?

Without going into too much detail on this, former ROH Announcer Kevin Kelly is suing AEW and announcer Ian Riccoboni for libelous statements and wrongful dismissal. The Boys, aka The Tate Twins, are claiming libelous statements by Tony Khan and seeking release from their contracts and the attached NDAs. It’s an interesting case and what makes it fascinating for me is that the attorney for Kevin Kelly and the Tate Twins is famed Jim Cornette associate Stephen P. New. I can’t see New taking on a case if he didn’t see a strong possibility of coming out on top. This one should be worth following and watching.

Gisele Shaw is through with TNA. Thoughts?

As we knew she would be when her contract expired. Shaw is still the current TNA Knockouts Champion and still working with NXT as well so it’s not a huge surprise.

Titan Towers is up for sale. Thoughts?

Wouldn’t it be a kick if Tony Khan and AEW bought the former WWE headquarters and established it as a base for AEW and the Khan sports empire? WWE outgrew the building and has moved on. It happens. It was a nice piece of WWE history, but life goes on.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s head out. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
