It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.

Any chance of Dixie Carter on camera for AEW?

It’s pro wrestling, so there is always a chance, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for this one.

Mick Foley recently said his planned final Death Match would have likely been vs. MJF. Does that mean it would have happened in AEW?

If Foley had been wrestling MJF, it would be in AEW. MJF is and has remained under contract to the brand for many years now and they wouldn’t let their biggest star work such a huge match under anyone else’s promotion.

I saw the Vegas PC story was something made up out of nothing by others, but here’s my question for you – SHOULD WWE have a PC in Vegas?

A PC in Vegas? I wouldn’t have that city high on my list of potential sights for a WWE training facility, but maybe LA or New York could be likely options. I think Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta could work as well.

Why was Darby in the Anarchy In The Arena match? He looks extremely beat up, and considering he got hit by a bus two weeks ago, he shouldn’t be anywhere but his couch.

Darby is an adrenaline junkie and lives for the moment. He doesn’t care about his physical well-being, and it seems AEW doesn’t care very much either. Darby shouldn’t have been medically cleared for those events, and it’s sad. He’s going to be in a wheelchair or dead before he’s 35, and no one gives a damn.

Val Venis versus Sami Zayn. Who wins?

Hello Ladies! Val is more entertaining, but Sami would probably win.

Is Hulk Hogan the biggest mainstream/crossover star in pro wrestling history?

A very valid argument can be made that without Hogan and Hulkamania, there would be no Stone Cold, no Rock, or anything, or anyone in wrestling as big as it is today. Like him or not, Hogan paved the way and opened up so many doors for others. I would say, arguably, yes.

How would you describe Vince McMahon?

Crazy, rich, unrelenting, and living proof that the line between genius and insanity is a very small one.

Would you be happy with Gunther versus John Cena being the World Title match at WrestleMania? Who would you want to face the Ring General?

I wouldn’t complain about this match, but I believe that Gunther needs to have his challenger, while Cena does his own thing. Cena doesn’t need to be in the title picture. If they want a legend to face Gunther for the title at Mania, Brock Lesnar seems much more viable.

You now get to take over the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Who is the one artist or band that now gets in that isn’t already?

How did this question get thrown in here? It doesn’t matter how. The answer is pretty easy and obvious. Dr. Hook.

Should Owen have had a run as WWF Champ?

I think that time and his fate make us all look at Owen Hart through rose-colored glasses rather than the realities of the time, era, and then-wrestling scene. Was Owen an amazing talent? Yes. Was he charismatic and exciting? Yes. Was he over enough at the time of his passing to be a good candidate for WWE Champion? Maybe eventually, but he wasn’t there yet. At the time he passed away, Owen was a popular mid-card at best. He wasn’t ready for the top spot at that point in his career.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and I’ll see you at the matches.
