I’m Doug and this is my form of pain and stress relief. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s rock.
The WWE is still in talks with Matt & Jeff Hardy. Would you like to see The Hardy Boyz back in WWE?
As full-time wrestlers, no. I think their time has passed, but as part-time, limited attractions, Jeff and Matt are an asset for any company they’re working for. With a program or two in NXT, plus work as agents or trainers, there is quite a bit that both men still have to offer. It would all depend on how they’re used, but it would be a plus for both Matt & Jeff and the WWE.
Nobody in the decision-making process thought suffocating someone was a bad idea to be included in professional wrestling programming. And needles, too? What audience was this directed to?
It was Tony and the wrestlers involved in booking these matches. Whatever anyone else might think, it doesn’t matter. They’re booking what they like and what they think their audience wants. What we, the other fans want, doesn’t matter.
Ricky Morton recently tweeted that they need to “stop headshots with steel chairs!”. Is Ricky right?
Despite hundreds of fans trying to explain to Ricky why he’s wrong and that they know more about wrestling than he does, he’s 100% correct. Chairshots are stupid and there is too much potential for brain damage and permanent injuries.
Where is AJ Styles?
I guess that Styles is waiting at home, training regularly, and waiting for WWE Creative to decide what’s next for the Phenomenal One.
Who would be your first 3 holders of a women’s mid-card championship?
If WWE were to initiate a mid-card Women’s Championship, I’d push Rachel Rodriguez as the initial champion, to give her career a reboot and new start. Maybe Natalya as the next champion, and Asuka, upon her return from injury, then can move in and have a long and fruitful run as champion.
MVP says if you can’t make money with Omos, you’re an “idiot”. Is he right or wrong?
It means he has his opinion on the matter and thinks he knows better than WWE Creative about the best way to use Omos and make him into a star. Is he right? I can’t say, but he thinks he is.
So what should Hangman Adam Page tell the critics who say he isn’t a needle mover now? He’s proven them wrong, literally.
Page can certainly move the needle and it’s even on video. I guess he showed us, right?
The Great Kabuki versus The Barbarian. Who wins?
For some reason, this match would excite me. I was always a fan of the Great Kabuki, along with manager Gary Hart, and the Barbarian is so underrated and talented, that he has long been a favorite as well. In a shoot, Barby could probably beat up anyone. A wrestling match? The contrast in styles would make it stand out from the crowd. I think Kabuki would use the mist and get the win.
Rank these four on mic/promo skills only from best to worst. Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, and The Rock.
A very tough call because these are four of the absolute best, but I think it would go Austin, Flair, Michaels, and then The Rock.
Do The Brothers of Destruction, Kane and the Undertaker, belong in the WWE Hall of Fame as a tag team?
I believe that several tag teams, such as Demolition, The Midnight Express, and The Anderson Brothers, should receive the nod first, but I can easily see Undertaker and Kane going in as a team. Both men are definitely deserving and it would be hard to make an argument against it.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’ll bid you good afternoon and close it up for a bit. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
