Welcome to the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

Nigel McGuinness has challenged Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship at the AEW Grand Slam in New York in 2 weeks! Thoughts?

It’s amazing how Jon Moxley threatened Darby Allin in the same show and said no more title shots against Danielson, but this match was still added to the AEW Grand Slam and it’s just business as usual. And how does an announcer who hasn’t wrestled in nearly a decade earn a title shot? But it will be good to see Nigel back in the ring and given the history between him and Danielson, it should be a very good match.
I’m looking forward to it.

It’s been confirmed that RAW will be on Netflix for three hours. Thoughts?

I guess since WWE is used to a three-hour format for RAW, it was to be expected. Very well.

What would be the best way to bring in Sting’s son in AEW?

My guess is he’ll debut by doing a run-in or save for Darby Allin. It makes the most sense.

Maria Kanellis versus Lana (CJ Perry). Who wins?

Before she became a baby machine, Maria worked hard and developed into a solid in-ring performer. Perry has had her moments, but I never saw quite the same development in her skills that I witnessed with Maria. Maria would win.

Would you like to see the Liv vs. Rhea feud go all the way to WrestleMania?

I think it has the legs to go that far and would make a good match for the Wrestlemania crowd. I also think, if it goes that far, we’ll see a Macho Man/Miss Elizabeth moment with Rhea and Dom. It’s going to happen eventually. And the crowd will explode when it does. Yeah, Liv versus Rhea at Mania could be a very good thing.

LA Knight versus Macho Man Randy Savage. Who wins?

LA Knight is good, but he’s not the Macho Man. Randy Savage wins.

What’s next for Hangman Adam Page?

I’m not sure after the carnage with Swerve at All Out. Is he a face? Is he a heel? Is he aligned with the New Elite or a thorn in their sides? There are way too many questions to give a solid answer to this one.

Val Venis has a poll on his Twitter profile. Should The Big Valbowski, Val Venis make a return to WWE in 2025 and kick Comrade Sami Zayns Communist ass? What do you think? Yes or no?

Val versus Sami could be a good match and it would be an interesting feud. Should Val give it a shot? Anything for a good match. He and WWE should have a discussion. I don’t think WWE would go for it, but it would be a fascinating rivalry.

Big Bill, fka Big Cass, said recently that he’s still friends with Enzo Amore and would like to see Enzo get another shot with a major promotion. Would you like to see Enzo in AEW or WWE again?

Enzo, despite his flaws, is entertaining and draws an audience. I think the pros of an Enzo Amore far outweigh the negatives. I’d love to see an Enzo Amore and Big Cass reunion.

Logically, how does the announcer who’s been retired for 12 years earn a match with the world champion in his first singles match?

I spoke on this a few questions ago and it makes no sense. We’ll just mark it off as AEW booking and leave it at that.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up I need to go take meds and have dinner. Be safe, my friends, and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
