It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug and this is how we roll. Let’s do this.

Why can’t AEW fill arenas weekly? Why can they only fill/sell out arenas for PPVs? What needs to change to help AEW fill arenas again?

I’ve answered this many times already. If AEW wants to draw fans to the arena events, they need consistent stories, solid matches, and characters that the fans want to see and make sense of, as well as a product that invites the fans instead of insulting their intelligence. Booking smaller venues for the shows might help too.

Tiffany Stratton or Charlotte Flair?

Are we talking about a match, a promo war, a baking contest, or what? It doesn’t matter. Tiffy Time is great, and this young woman has all the tools to be a huge star one day, but Charlotte Flair is and forever will be The Queen.

Jacqueline & Mae Young versus The Young Bucks. Who wins?

Jackie and Mae would legit beat the crap out of Matthew and Nicholas. It wouldn’t even be close. Hell, Mae could do it by herself, and I’m talking about while in her 80s.

Will Ospreay now has 42 matches rated five stars or higher. That’s more than Okada, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, HBK, Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Edge, Triple H, and The Rock combined! It’s also more than the whole of WWE, WCW, ROH, Jim Crockett Promotions, TNA, and ECW combined. Thoughts?

Ospreay is a talented wrestler, but this shows how delusional and out-of-touch Meltzer really is and why those valued “5-star” matches are just his opinion and mean nothing.

Who is the better pro wrestler overall? Kevin Nash or Logan Paul?

Kevin had a great career, but based on the in-ring skills, plus just how good he is so early in his career, I have to say, Logan Paul.

Should WWE eliminate the house shows?

Nope. The wrestlers need the ring time to perform in front of a live audience and improve their skills via repetition. While reducing the schedule somewhat makes sense from a financial perspective, a live event is an amazing treat for the fans and should always be part of the WWE product.

Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevera versus Austin Theory & Grayson Waller. Who wins?

The current ROH Tag Team Champions versus arguably the best heel tag team currently in the WWE could be an amazing match. Sammy is hit-or-miss these days, but Dustin, Waller, and Theory could all be counted on to have an amazing match. My gut says Waller & Theory would win.

WWE has signed Armando Alejandro Estrada to a new Legend’s Deal. So does that mean Estrada will be the new Wise Man for The Bloodline 2.0? Thoughts?

It makes sense from a storyline perspective and would add to the Bloodline story, especially once Paul Heyman makes his return as Roman Reign’s wise man. I’d like to see it happen.

Is Solo Sikoa a Future World Champion?

Solo is an impressive dude and he’s come a long way over the past few years. That being said, I just don’t see him as a World Champion. I could be wrong, but I just don’t get that vibe from the Tribal Chief 2.0.

Do you miss Vickie Guerrero?

I didn’t, but seeing her as part of Smackdown this past Friday has kind of changed that. I’ve always liked Vickie’s character and wouldn’t mind seeing her pop up more often on WWE TV.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up for now. Thanks again and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
