It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s answer a few questions. Let’s roll.

Name the greatest faction in all of pro wrestling.

There can be only one. The original superstar faction that set the bar for every faction that followed. Ole, Arn, Tully, and Ric, along with James J. Dillon. The greatest of all time, The Four Horsemen.

If you could time travel to witness one historic moment in wrestling, what would it be?

It’s a tough decision. I think my moment would be at the first Starcade, A Flair for the Gold, from 1983, when inside the steel cage, Ric Flair defeated Harley Race to capture the NWA World Championship.

Should Adam Cole be a heel or a face upon his AEW return?

Given his history during his stay in AEW, Cole should probably be a heel. So of course, he’ll be used as a babyface.

Who should have the next big, intense program like Punk/McIntyre once theirs wraps up?

Kofi versus Xavier Woods? Given their long history together, a break-up and feud could get extremely intense. Miz and R-Truth? Miz turned on Truth last night on RAW and can you imagine a serious Truth who is through playing and pissed off going after Miz? That could be wild too.

Shane McMahon & Jeff Jarrett versus Garrett Bischoff & Erik Watts. Who wins?

Bischoff and Watts would win after Timothy Zbyszko accepted a payoff from Vince McMahon and interfered on their behalf.

If/when AEW launches a Hall of Fame, should it have a physical HoF? And who would you induct in the first class?

One of the biggest arguments against the WWE Hall of Fame is that it exists in name only and there is no physical structure to honor the Inductees. So yes, if AEW does a Hall of Fame, there should be a physical building as well, maybe in conjunction with Daily’s Place, which is owned by Tony Khan’s family. As for who would go in as part of the first class, I’d go with Sting, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, Jeff Jarrett, and Owen Hart.

Who are the top five tag teams active in the game right now? Can be across the genders or separate lists.

Off the top of my head, I’d go with FTR, Matt & Jeff Hardy, Grayson Waller & Austin Theory, DIY, and The Good Brothers.

WWE Hall of Famer Pete Rose passed away today. Thoughts on Rose and his contributions to pro wrestling. Does he belong in the MLB Hall of Fame?

Charlie Hustle was the nickname given to Pete Rose, who is MLB’s all-time leader in hits (4,256), games played (3,562), at-bats (14,053), singles (3,215), and outs (10,328). And yet, he’s still not in the MLB Hall of Fame. That is wrong. But he is in the WWE Hall of Fame. Rose had a running gag of sorts with Kane for so many years and was as memorable in the encounters with the Big Red Machine as he was in baseball. It wasn’t WrestleMania unless Pete Rose was getting beaten up by Kane. I’ve always been a fan of Pete Rose and it has nothing to do with that I was born in Cincinnati. This one hurts. Rose was a sports legend. He belongs in the MLB Hall of Fame. And he will be missed.

WWE is now selling Dominik Mysterio toilet paper. Thoughts?

I’m not sure whose idea this was, but this is great marketing by the WWE. His deadbeat dad must be so impressed and proud. I’m sure Mami is as well. Dirty Dom toilet paper. I’ll bet Dom is already cashing the royalty checks to buy more Nuggies. Good for him.

Luchasaurus, aka Killswitch versus Kane. Who wins?

Can you just imagine the build and promos for a match like this? Both men are similar in size and build and let’s admit it, both men are a little off and twisted. This match would be so much fun to see. As for the winner, I’d go with Kane.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
