Coming up on Saturday, live on Peacock and the WWE Network, from Atlanta, GA, is WWE Bad Blood. There will be a special start time of 6:00 PM Eastern. It’s a huge event for WWE and of course, that means it’s prediction time for me. I’m Doug and are you ready? Let’s do this.

The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa) vs. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

It’s a hard call here. I can’t see Roman and Cody losing, but I can’t see a clean win here either. I expect to see Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa get involved. That’s a no-brainer, but will Randy Orton or Kevin Owens be there to make the save for Cody? Maybe we’ll see the return of The Wise Man, Paul Heyman, adding some chaos to the dynamic of things with Brock Lesnar. Brock has been spotted in Atlanta. Will we see a new member of the Bloodline debut? Allegedly, WWE has him signed and is waiting for a moment.

Let me play fantasy booker here and using everything I mentioned earlier, lay out a scenario. Cody and Roman win. Zilla Fatu debuts and along with Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa, they proceed to a tremendous post-match beatdown on Cody & Roman. It’s 5 on 2. Randy and KO come out for the save and it’s now 5 on 4, but the Bloodline still has the numbers game and advantage. The Wise Man returns and sends out Brock Lesnar, who has agreed to return in exchange for a title shot against the Universal Champion. Brock cleans the house of the Bloodline and in the end, it’s Roman, Cody, KO, Orton, and Brock standing tall. This sets up a match in Saudi Arabia where Brock challenges for the title, plus more importantly, War Games at Survivor Series. Works for me and I like it.

Winners: Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes.

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match.

I expect this match to be violent and brutal. I expect to see blood. And who wins? It can go either way and I expect that both men will take a few weeks off to regroup and get up their next feuds, hopefully Drew with Wade Barrett, and Punk with All Ego Ethan Page. I think we’ll see Punk get the win.

Winner: CM Punk.

Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship with Dominik Mysterio Locked in a Shark Cage.

If Rhea wins the title here, the feud is essentially over and I don’t want that to happen. I’d love to see it play out until WrestleMania and an eventual reunion between Rhea & Dom. There is still a lot of mileage left in these three characters. Plus, and I hate to admit it, Liv has really grown as a character and into the championship. It’d be a shame to see her drop the title. Rhea doesn’t need it. So look for Caged Animal Dom to drop something from the cage and Liv to take advantage and steal a win. A tainted loss won’t hurt Rhea and it just adds fuel to the fire.

Winner and STILL WWE Women’s World Champion: Liv Morgan.

Nia Jax vs. Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship.

This will be an excellent match, but I think the story here is Tiffany Straton and her MITB briefcase. Will it be a Tiffy Time moment, or will she bask in the glory of Nia and hold off until another day? So far as Nia and Bayley go, it will be a solid performance by both, but the power that is Nia will find a way and get the win. And then Tiffany… she holds off, celebrates with Nia, and the build for her eventual moment continues.

Winner and STILL WWE Women’s Champion: Nia Jax.

Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest.

If Rhea is losing, Priest has to win here. Balor and Priest will have a good match. These two have amazing chemistry together. I expect we’ll see JD and Carlito get involved, but hopefully, Priest’s and Mami’s recent alliance with Yeet will be there to counter them. Look for a good match, a little bit of chaos, and a big win by Damian Priest.

Winner: Damian Priest.

And there you go. My predictions for WWE Bad Blood, live from Atlanta, GA, on Saturday at 6:00 PM on Peacock & The Network. Am I right? Am I wrong? Let me know what you think in the comments, along with any other questions, ideas, or thoughts. Thanks for reading. I’m Doug and I’ll see you at the matches.
