It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s rock!
According to Fightful, Bobby Lashley has signed with AEW and will be debuting soon. Thoughts?
We’ve already seen MVP and Shelton debut to warm up the crowd, and soon, we’ll get the O’Mighty Main Event with Bobby. It will be good to see how well Bobby does in AEW before he’s sent to limbo. WWE wasted Lashley towards the end of his run and it will be good to see what he can do in AEW.
Should Joe Hendry win the TNA World Championship at Bound for Glory?
Part of me says yes, but another part of me sees Hendry as a better challenger than the champion. It’s a tough call, but I think the chase should continue for a while longer, both in TNA and NXT. No championship yet.
Miro has been released from his AEW contract as of today. It is also being reported that WWE will be looking to sign him as soon as he’s ready. Thoughts?
AEW had a prize on their hands and fumbled the ball. It will be good to see what Miro, aka Rusev, can do in a Vince-free WWE. I expect he’ll do very well and crush everyone. And they can bring him back and have him debut on Rusev Day.
According to Meltzer, AEW has officially suspended Britt Baker for the use of the substance Nitrous Oxide during shows. Reports have revealed that she has been using her dental connections to obtain the substance. Thoughts?
I tried to look this up to see if there is any truth to this. It’s just a click-bait headline and not true. Baker has not been suspended from AEW. Fake news.
Do you think The Rock will show up at WWE Bad Blood?
He was in Atlanta to attend a high school football game so there is always a chance. While he might be backstage and visiting, I don’t think we’ll see him on the PLE.
Brock Lesnar has been spotted in Atlanta, the home of this weekend’s WWE Bad Blood. Thoughts?
Brock being in Atlanta is far more suspicious than a sighting of the Rock. Go read my predictions for WWE Bad Blood. I suspect he’s there for a reason, especially with the Saudi shows coming up soon.
Allegedly, AJ Lee was spotted at the WWE Performance Center a few days ago. Thoughts?
AJ probably just wants to get in a good workout and spend some time with her husband. And it never hurts a girl to be prepared, just in case. I don’t expect we’ll see her on WWE television anytime soon, but having AJ on call is a nice Ace for Triple H and WWE to keep in their back pocket… just in case.
According to inside sources, Riddick Moss will soon be appearing in AEW. Would you like to see Moss become All-Elite? Yes or no?
Moss is a very good wrestler with a ton of potential. I enjoyed him as Madcap Moss in WWE, but they never seemed to know what to do with him properly. Maybe now, in AEW, he can get some momentum and build his brand with a good run. I hope so. And where Ross goes, can his bride, Tennille Dashwood, aka Emma, be far behind?
Is Mark Briscoe as good as his brother Jay was?
Mark is every bit as good as his late brother, Jay. I hate this question though. I pride myself here at the site that no question is off limits and anything goes, but that question made me cringe. Why do AEW and Chris Jericho insist on using Mark’s dead brother to get a storyline over when the match was already made between Mark and Chris? It doesn’t have a purpose except for cheap heat and shock value. I’m sure Mark only agreed because he’s a good guy and doesn’t want to make waves with the boss or appear difficult. But invoking Jay’s memory this way is unnecessary and just wrong. Jay deserves better.
Brock Lesnar versus Bruiser Brody. Who wins?
Brock may be the Beast, but we’re talking about Bruiser Brody here. What a fight this would be. Brody would win.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up for today. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
