It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

Are you enjoying LA Knight as the WWE United States Champion? Yes or no.

Not really, no. I’m not a big LA Knight fan and it just seems to be that he’s gotten stale and his current run on Smackdown is being overshadowed by the KO/Orton/Cody drama and the Bloodline stuff. Hopefully, some matches against Andrade, Carmello, and AJ Styles will spark things up a bit and make this reign more interesting. Otherwise, they may as well just put the belt back on Logan Paul.

Who should get cashed in on by Tiffany Stratton? Nia Jax or Liv Morgan?

While the thought of Tiffy versus Liv sounds appealing, it will eventually be Nia Jax.

Jimmy Uso is back. Thoughts?

It’s good to see Jimmy back. I didn’t realize how much I missed him until he popped up last night at Bad Blood. And did you see Roman’s face? He actually had legit tears when he and Jimmy were hugging. It certainly adds some sparks to the current Roman versus Bloodline feud. The sides are starting to even up. This return was cool and now we wonder, who’s next?

How would you rate WWE Bad Blood on a scale of 1-10?

On a scale of 1-10, I’d give it an 8.25. The ending of the Rhea/Liv match didn’t work for me, but the rest of the show was very good and can be classified as a true banger.

Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes after the show. Thoughts?

It was slick of WWE that there were no TV cameras to film this and the video of the attack was by fans and their phones. It makes it seem more realistic and generates more of a buzz. I’m looking forward to Nick Aldis addressing this “legit and unprofessional” attack later this week and seeing how it plays out. More great storytelling by the WWE.

Rachel Rodriguez is back, and she’s aligned herself with Dom & Liv. Thoughts?

Her return at the end of the Liv/Rhea match at Bad Blood was a bit off to me, but I’m glad to see Rachel return. Given her history with Liv, it’s a natural alliance, plus she matches up well with Rhea. Things have gotten interesting and business is picking up. This gives Rhea a good opponent to allow a break from Liv until the build for Mania begins.

Thoughts on the Crown Jewel Championships made for the Saudi Shows with the world champions fighting each other. Good idea or nay?

Part of the WWE/Saudi deal seems to be a high emphasis on special titles or events exclusive to the Crown Jewel events and this creation of new titles seems to be par for the course. That being said, I like the idea of Champions versus Champions as the co-main events. It makes the shows special and we’re almost 100% certain to have two strong, unique matches. Those belts are ugly, but the concept behind them isn’t too shabby at all.

Ole Anderson was name-dropped on a WWE PLE. Thoughts?

If we ever needed proof that Vince is gone from WWE, that was it. And it adds context to why Roman and Cody teaming up is such a big deal. Ole’s feud with Dusty was a major deal back in the deal and it’s great to see it getting some recognition and praise. And I’m still waiting for Arn Anderson, or maybe his son Brock, to eventually turn on Cody. Anderson’s turn on Rhodes. It’s in their blood and what they do. Just saying.

Would Darby Allin make a good AEW World champion?

I don’t see Darby as World Champion material, but he can’t be any worse than some of the previous talents to hold that title. The fans like him and Tony Khan likes him so why not? Yeah, sure.

Based on their segment during the PLE, do you think we’ll be seeing Gunther versus Goldberg somewhere down the line?

It would attract attention, draw in some casual fans, make money, and be a fun spectacle. It’d also give Goldberg that last match he’s been wanting and possibly provide Goldberg’s son, Gage, a potential opportunity, should he be considering a future in professional wrestling. So with all that being factored in, I would say yes. It will eventually happen.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up for now. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
