Tomorrow night, live on PPV from Tacoma, Washington, is AEW WrestleDream. It’s a big event for AEW, and of course, that means it’s prediction time. Eleven matches, and I’m sure that more will be added tonight. Triple H, where are you at with the 5-match PPV? sighs Let’s do this.

ROH Television Championship
Atlantis Jr. (c) vs. Brian Cage.

I had forgotten that Atlantis Jr. was the ROH Television Champion. But then, he’s the TV Champion of a promotion that doesn’t have a TV deal. I’m just guessing here, but I like Brian Cage. Cage should be getting more matches and a bigger push. So, with that in mind, look for Atlantis to retain.

Winner and STILL ROH Television Champion: Atlantis Jr.

ROH World Championship
Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Chris Jericho (with Big Bill and Bryan Keith).

If Jericho wins, we riot. Briscoe is ROH, and he’s a good champion. Jericho needs a long vacation. Briscoe wins.

Winner and STILL ROH World Champion: Mark Briscoe.

Darby Allin vs. Brody King.

Darby will do something stupid, and if he survives, he’ll get the win.

Winner: Darby Allin.

AEW TNT Championship
Jack Perry (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata.

Shibata is starting to look like a badass, and I’d love to see him wearing some gold. That being said, Perry is killing it with his scapegoat character and doesn’t need to be losing that belt anytime soon.

Winner and STILLTNT Champion: Jack Perry.

AEW International Championship
Will Ospreay (c) vs. Ricochet vs. Konosuke Takeshita.

Flip-flop city to the extreme. Just thinking of this match is already giving me a headache. Lots of fancy spots with the actual wrestling being secondary. Where is Tonya Harding to take out a knee or six when you need her? Let’s see a new champion.

Winner and NEW AEW International Champion: Ricochet.

AEW World Tag Team Championship
The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) (c) vs. Private Party (Zay and Quen).

Having the Bucks as the tag team champions is killing the AEW Tag Team Division. They really need to lose those belts soon. This is the second title defense since they won the belts. Oy vey! I hope we see a title switch here. I don’t think we will.

Winners and STILL AEW Tag Team Champions: The Young Bucks.

AEW Women’s World Championship
Mariah May (c) vs. Willow Nightingale.

Mariah May has been on a roll s of late. She seems to be improving in the ring. Willow is a talented lady as well, but I think her time as Tony’s favorite toy is starting to fade. Look for Mariah May to retain.

Winner and STILL AEW Women’s World Champion: Mariah May.

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Jay White.

This one should be pretty good. Page should win, but I have a feeling we may end up getting a swerve, if you will. I’m just glad that White is getting some PPV and match time. Yeah, we’re gonna get swerved.

Winner: Jay White.

MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster).

WWE’s two male models versus The Acclaimed. This one has a story, kind of, and should be a good match. MxM is good, but everyone loves the Acclaimed.

Winners: The Acclaimed.

Two out of Three Falls
Hologram vs. The Beast Mortos.

Why is this match 2 out of 3 falls? Are either Mortos or Hologram that over? I don’t get this booking sometimes. Mortos is the heel so a loss won’t hurt him so long as he gets one fall in. Look for Hologram to win, two falls to one.

Winner: Hologram.

AEW World Championship
Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Jon Moxley (with Marina Shafir).

How many more matches does Danielson have left in him? I was reading this morning about how he started to lose strength in his legs during his match on Dynamite. It seems as if he and Darby are competing to see who ends up in a wheelchair first. As someone who uses a wheelchair, let me tell you, it’s not fun. They need to quit! I really hate the idea of Moxley as the champion again. Look for Moxley to win.

Winner and NEW AEW World Champion: Jon Moxley.

And there you go with my predictions for AEW WrestleDream. So what are yours? Let me know in the comments, along with any other thoughts or questions you might have. Thanks for reading. I’m Doug and I’ll see you at the matches.
