It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m your Guiding Light, Doug. Are you ready to do this? Let’s roll.

What does Adam Cole weigh now? 120 lbs? Why is he the babyface against MJF, when he was “The Devil” turned on MJF?

Adam Cole does look very skinny. As to why he’s the babyface, it’s because MJF is more aligned in everyone’s head as being a heel, and old habits die hard. That, plus confusing booking and storytelling.

Jon Moxley’s 4th reign as AEW World Champion begins tonight as the reign and career of Bryan Danielson is over. Thoughts?

I predicted that this was the direction AW would head. Plus Danielson allegedly wanted Moxley to be the man that beat him. Let’s go with lazy booking.

The Young Bucks retained the tag team belts over Private Party. Is it the right call or not?

The Youg Bucks are killing the tag team division and need to drop the tag team straps to some other team. That’s a given. I’m not sure if Private Party would be the right team since they’re not over and haven’t been a factor in several years, but Private Party winning the titles would have been better than nothing. With the Bucks as the champions, that’s all we currently have. Nothing.

Wheeler Yuta has turned against Bryan Danielson and Darby Allin. Do you have any thoughts on this angle?

I guess Yuta got tired of jumping onto microwaves, barbed wire, and legos for the Juggalos and needed something to do. But seriously, it’s just lazy booking that doesn’t matter in the big picture of things and this epic story of Yuta siding with Claudio and Moxley will be forgotten in about three weeks max.

MxM w/Rico versus Pretty Dangerously versus West Hollywood Blondes versus Breezango. Who wins?

This would be a very vivid and colorful match. The promos and build would probably be better than the actual match itself. MxM has the size advantage, plus Rico on the outside. I think they’d end up getting the victory celebration.

AEW WrestleDream had 11 matches and not a single one featured a black male. Where is the criticism for lack of black male representation or is that just for WWE and Triple H?

We did have Private Party challenging for the Tag Team Championships against the Young Bucks, plus a talking segment with MVP and Swerve, so there was some black male representation on the show. They only talked and did the JOB, but they were there. This whole criticism and pointing fingers is so stupid. The most talented and popular get the prime spots, regardless of race, gender, or anything else, as it should be. Anything else is just pandering.

Barry Windham versus Damian Priest. Who wins?

Windham in his prime could have a damn good match with anyone. Priest is getting better all the time and doesn’t have bad matches. They’re similar in size and this would be a banger of a match. I think Windham would get the win, but just barely.

Anna Jay beat Harley Cameron at AEW WrestleDream, but the referee had to push Harley’s shoulder down so he could count the pin. Thoughts?

Not only did they flub the spot, but they showed it again on replay several times. Poor officiating by the referee and sloppy wrestling by the wrestlers. Hopefully, someone got their ass chewed out in the back after the match. That was just sad.

Swerve doesn’t turn his back on family and Prince Nana is family. Thoughts?

It seems that we’ll have Swerve & Nana and any allies they gather up against MVP, Shelton, and whoever shows up on their side (Lashley). It should be entertaining. Nana showed more personality in the past couple of weeks than I’ve ever seen from him so maybe this feud will elevate him to being watchable. We’ll have to see.

So which one was better? Bad Blood or WrestleDream? Why?

Bad Blood was by far the better show. WrestleDream was better than the usual AEW show and had some memorable moments, but Bad Blood had that Hell in a Cell match with CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. That made all the difference.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll be back shortly with more stuff. Watch out for Missy and the loaded Gucci Purse, and I’ll see you at the matches.
