How would you book a half-year solo run for Pentagon before Fenix is allowed to come over?

It’s pretty simple. Bring in Pentagon, have him wrestle in different matches against different wrestlers, and then, when Fenix is finally free of AEW, have Pentagon be attacked by a team or group. He needs help so he brings in Fenix. And there you go.

What would it take to get another all-women PPV (Premium Live Event)?

Either someone from TKO or Triple H wants it. If it makes sense and has a purpose and the audience is asking, it’ll happen again. Until then, probably not.

Why aren’t using steel steps, announcer tables, and barriers illegal when, back in the day, tossing someone over the top rope got you disqualified?

Times change. Rules change. And the business has changed.

Who would look best in a maid outfit Oba Femi and Jacob Fatu?

The thought of either wearing a maid outfit makes me cringe, but I think Fau would look better than Femi. He has better legs.

Do you think that Miro and Makalai Black’s alleged refusal to do jobs as opposed to, for example, Ospreay’s proposal to put Swerve over doomed their AEW runs? Since they’re not big draws it just makes them look unprofessional and not team players.

I think that was part of it, but also, Tony doesn’t know how to book someone consistently and keep them strong. Miro and Black both know their characters better than Tony Khan ever could and if they didn’t follow blindly and had questions, they were sent home and forgotten. It’s a common thread in AEW.

Bob Ryder and Rhino have been announced as the next inductees to the TNA Hall of Fame. Thoughts?

Two good picks who are both well-deserving. Ryder was a big part of the beginning of TNA and played a role in the company until his death. Rhino is a good wrestler with a good history in TNA who has paid his dues and has always been loyal to the company. No complaints or issues with either choice.

What’s your take on the Crown Jewel belt? Is it elevating the show beyond what it warrants due to a major cash injection or is it WWE handing Riyhad a big shiny consolation prize while signaling to fans that no major titles will be changing hands?

It’s an ugly belt, but this is what the Saudis want so WWE is playing along and accommodating them due to the money that Saudi pays them. It’ll be featured for the Crown Jewel event and then forgotten about, along with most of the rest of the show.

I want your best guess. Who will be the next 3 WWE champions?

The current WWE Champion is Cody, so the next three? Let’s go with Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk.

Do you think the criticism of AEW’s booking is fair or completely disproportionate?

Watch the shows. It’s fair and warranted. Tony Khan is a terrible booker and the product is suffering as a result.

The one WWE moment that you wished never would’ve happened?

The Chris Benoit murder/suicide back in 2007. It forever changed the world for so many people, both in wrestling and otherwise. I wish it had never happened.
