I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

Is Joe Hendry winning the 2025 Royal Rumble? Yes or no?

While Joe Hendry is a very popular guy and I would not be surprised at all to see him take part in the Royal Rumble match, he’s not going to win and headline Wrestlemania. That just isn’t going to happen.

Is Montez Ford a future World Champion?

Ford is a talented wrestler and I expect much success with this young man, but World Champion? I’m not saying it’s impossible, but Ford will need to step up his game before he’s World Champion material. He’s upper mid-card at best.

What are your thoughts on the Wyatt Sicks?

So far, so good. I’d like to see them get more time on television, but thus far, WWE has done well in keeping the mystique alive. WWE is taking the less is more approach and when Bo & friends do appear, there is always a purpose. I’m still interested to see where this all goes.

Who will be that guy who can dethrone Cody Rhodes?

My gut keeps saying Randy Orton will be the one, so I’ll go with the RKO from nowhere.

When will Waller and Theory break up? I think Waller needs it as he could be a top heel.

I like Waller & Theory as a team, but I get what you’re saying. How about some crossed-signals at the Royal Rumble, leading to a match at Wrestlemania? Would that work for you? I’d like to see it.

Should Oba Femi be thrown into a championship feud right away if he gets called up to the main roster?

Championship opportunities are to be earned and not just given out. I’d have Femi work some matches with Braun Strowman or Sheamus first to show the fans who may not watch NXT what he can do and just how tough he truly is. And once he’s established as a main-event level monster, he can start going after titles.

Should John Cena win one last World Championship during his retirement tour?

I can see both sides of this and to be honest, I’m not sure what WWE and Cena should do. Winning #17 would be cool and I’m sure it would make many people in RKO and WWE feel better than having to worry about Ric Flair and how he might embarrass the company as the person who’s had the most title reigns. But given that Flair and his ex-wife, Wendy, just lost a child, I can see WWE being cautious and not wanting to hurt Flair’s feelings and take that honor away. If Cena wants to make title history, another option would be the Intercontinental Championship. Cena has never been the IC Champion and winning that belt would make him a Grand Slam Champion. So WWE has options. I think I prefer the latter one.

Do you see Brock Lesnar ever returning?

Brock has nothing left to prove to the wrestling fans, but I think he still has plenty of juice left in the tank and could be a valuable asset to the WWE. I think we’ll see at least one more run by The Beast. I hope so anyhow.

If you could bring back one broken-up tag team who would it be?

It’s more of a faction than a tag team, but I want to see a 3MB reunion, but in a serious capacity. Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, and Heath Slater, together as bad-ass heels. No comedy or goofiness, but three tough and dangerous men together and looking for a fight. I think it would get over quite well with the WWE fans.

John Cena passing Ric Flair’s record or winning the IC title becoming a Grand Slam Champion. Which would you prefer?

I just answered this. I think I need a better editor when I’m outlining these columns and picking questions for the column. I’d prefer to see Cena with the Intercontinental Championship. Cena versus Bron Breakker would be a damn good match.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up for now. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for sneak attacks in the parking lot and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
