Yes, it’s one more edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A before I go to bed. I’m Doug and never forget. I do this for you. Let’s roll.

Are the Hardy Boyz a top 3 tag team of all time?

For me, the answer would be no. I like Matt & Jeff and they’re a legendary tag team, but when you say all-time, that covers a lot of ground. For some, Matt & Jeff are the GOATs of tag team wrestling, but I would tend to disagree.

Do you see the Rhea Ripley versus Liv Morgan story going all the way to WrestleMania 41? And if so, are you on board?

I think it will and I am on board for it. Especially with the new injury to Rhea, adds to the story and extends the life. Now Rhea can have her own “revenge tour” and they can settle things at Mania.

WWE has announced that Rhea Ripley has a “fractured right orbital socket”, which will put Ripley out of action for an undisclosed amount of time.

This sucks, but it also adds to the story and will allow WWE to stretch things out, allowing Rhea to come back and have her own revenge tour against Liv and Dom. Any injury sucks and I hope Rhea has a speedy and painless recovery. Rhea can heal up and come back for revenge, building to a main event match at WrestleMania.

Are The Young Bucks the 2024 tag team of the year?

For Meltzer, they might win the honors, but for the rest of us, the Young Bucks will not be the 2024 Tag Team of the Year, nor do they deserve to.

Private Party defeated the Young Bucks on AEW Dynamite to capture the AEW World Tag Team titles. Thoughts?

To start, congratulations to Private Party for their title victory. And I think this is a good move by AEW. AEW needs to jump-start their tag team division and taking the belts off of Matt & Nick Jackson was a great start. Now we have Private Party and a chance for a fresh start. I’m looking for things to pick up very quickly now.

Adam Cole states that his goal is to end his career with AEW and has no real plans of leaving the company. Thoughts?

Look at how much weight Cole has lost. I doubt he’d even have a place in WWE right now, given the past few years. His run in AEW has devalued Cole as a wrestler and talent. My guess is that he wants to stay in AEW because he has nowhere else to go.

Bobby Lashley just debuted in AEW. Thoughts?

I think, for a few weeks anyhow, things are about to pick up and move to the next level. It won’t last long, but the next few weeks should be very interesting.

I think it’s fair to say NXT has the best women’s division in all of wrestling. Yes or no?

No arguments here. I’ll agree with you. TNA and the Knockouts might give NXT a run for the money but in terms of overall presentation for the Women’s division, NXT is very good and the rest of WWE and AEW have some catching up to do.

Mr. Kennedy or LA Knight? Who’s better?

Both have their strong points, but both have their flaws as well. I think Kennedy is better on the mic, while Knight is better in the ring. I prefer Mr. Kennedy. But if they had a match, I think LA Knight would walk out with the win. Yeah!

Have you ever heard of a wrestler in Georgia called Big Red? This would be in the early 80s. I remember this guy, but I can’t find anything on him. Help!

I saw this guy on an old episode of Georgia Championship Wrestling from November 1981. He was Michael Hayes’ mystery partner for a match at the Omni against Austin Idol & Terry Gordy. Big Red was a big black guy with a reddish crew cut who reminds me a lot of Bad Bad Leroy Brown in that he was jovial, loud, and just a big ass dude, easily close to 400lbs. I don’t think he did anything else besides this brief run in Georgia. I tried to find mentions of him online, but couldn’t find anything else except for that time in Georgia. He was interesting, but I think he was just a big guy that GCW saw and gave him a try. If anyone can provide any more information on this guy, please feel free to share.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
