I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. If you have questions, I have the answers. Let’s do this.
A Women’s Wargames match doesn’t feel needed. I think Wyatt Sicks and Final Testament deserve that spot. What do you think?
While I’d agree that a Women’s War Games match isn’t needed and would seem forced at this point, I don’t think sticking The Wyatts and Final Testament in the double cage is much of an improvement. It’s too early in their feud to skip ahead to that level. A regular multi-man tag match or even a traditional Survivor Series match between the two factions makes more sense.
Who are the greatest five managers of all time and the most underrated?
The five greatest of all time would be Jim Cornette, Paul Heyman, Bobby Heenan, Captain Lou Albano, and James J. Dillon. The most underrated? Sir Oliver Humperdink. Look at what this man did in Florida and the Mid-Atlantic regions. He was so good, but unfortunately, his style didn’t do well in the WWE where he managed Bigelow and it damaged his reputation.
100 days in. What are your thoughts on LA Knight’s U.S. Championship reign thus far?
I’m not impressed. Knight is a capable wrestler and has a strong fan base, but thus far in this reign, he just seems to be there and going through the motions, a little more. Knight needs a strong feud against a top guy and to step things up a bit. Yeah!
Who is wrestling’s sexiest man and woman?
There are times that I regret my no-question is off-limits policy. This is not one of them. The sexiest man and woman in pro wrestling history? I’ll go with my two long-term Hall Passes, Juventud Guerrera and Ivory. WOOF!
You are starting your own wrestling company in 2025. Name 3 Superstars you’re signing.
Seth Rollins, Matt Cardona & Rhea Ripley.
Would you be excited to see Hiroko Suzuki make a surprise appearance in the women’s Royal Rumble?
Who? I had to do a Google search to remember who this woman was. The wife and manager of Kenso Suzuki nearly twenty years ago. If I can’t remember who she is, and I’m usually pretty good at this stuff, I doubt any other WWE fans would remember her either. I’d rather see a surprise appearance by a name I remember than someone who lasted barely a year two decades ago. I’ll pass.
I don’t understand. Why does Jacob love Solo so much?
He loves Solo because Solo is his Tribal Chief and helped him get a spot near the top of the WWE roster. What more reason do you need?
Simon Miller & Chris Van Vliet versus Hannibal & Hornswoggle. Who wins?
Miller and Van Vliet, the two most positive people in existence, would win after a swerve by Hornswoggle who, realizing what a piece of trash Hannibal is, would punch him in the nuts and walk out of the match. And then Simon would give the so-called Bloodhunter a big thumbs down and take the clown out.
The Undertaker versus Stan Hansen. Who wins?
With both men in their prime, this would be an amazing clash between two legitimate legends. It would also be stiff as heck and brutal to watch. I think Stan would respect the legacy of the Dead Man and take a loss via count-out or DQ. Taker wins.
You named your favorite cowboy wrestler a few days ago. Now, who is the best Native American/Indian wrestler?
Should I say Tatanka? Maybe the fake Indians, Jay Strongbow, and Jules Strongbow? How about Jack & Gerald Brisco? Maybe Chief Wahoo McDaniel? Jay Youngblood? Mark Youngblood? Allen Iron Eagle? So many names and choices. But I’ll do a nepo-thing here with my one-time roommate and little brother in every manner, but blood. I’ve known this guy for nearly 40 years and there are few better, be it as a wrestler or as a man. The Phoenix Micheal Youngblood. ‘Nuff said!
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up for now.
A big shout out to my bro, Brent, up in the great state of CT. He went to Nashville and ended up hanging out with the man who beat The Rock & Stone Cold on the same night, Chris Jericho. Only Brent lol. He is the man!
And now, I’m out of here. Send me your questions and watch out for foreign objects. I’ll see you at the matches.
