It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s do this.

Did AEW bring Darby back into the fold physically too soon?

Probably, but neither AEW nor Darby seem to care so why should we?

With MVP giving out so many business cards, how many should join the Hurt Syndicate? Should it be stable with 6 or 7 people or focus on Bobby/Shelton?

I like a grouping of four or five at the most. I’ve always used the Dangerous Alliance or the Horsemen as my blueprint for factions. The focus should remain on Lashley and Shelton though, regardless of who else joins the group.

Thoughts & memories of Sean O’Haire?

O’Haire had a great look, a great character, and the potential to be a big star for WWE. He could do the high-flying stuff that a man his size wasn’t supposed to be doing, but also the power moves and solid wrestling. And that character as the Devil’s Advocate. I don’t know what WWE was thinking in putting O’Haire with Roddy Piper, but Sean was one of the good ones.

Ernest “The Cat” Miller versus King Kong Bundy. Who wins?

The Cat may call Bundy’s Mama, but he’d still end up being put down for the five-five-five-five-five. Bundy wins.

Who was Randy Savage’s best opponent?

Some would say Hulk Hogan. Some would say Rick Steamboat. Some would say Ric Flair. Or maybe it’s Jerry Lawler from the days in Memphis? My own opinion? I would go with Diamond Dallas Page. Their match at the Halloween Havoc was one for the ages and they always seemed to bring out the best in each other.

If you could have any job/career within the pro wrestling industry, which one would you want to do the most and why?

When I was younger and healthy, I would have said heel manager. I grew up watching people like Gary Hart, Sir Oliver Humperdink, and Paul Jones, and told myself that, I could do that. As I got older and learned more about the business, I’d love to be involved in the creative process, maybe as a writer or producer.

Who is the blubberiest wrestler of all time?

Blubberiest? Is that even really a word? I guess we can’t say “fat” anymore so we’ll just get fancy and say blubberiest instead. And my choice? The McGuire Twins, aka Billy & Benny. Both were well over six hundred pounds each. By comparison, Crusher Blackwell or Yokozuna would look like Adam Cole standing next to either of those guys.

Should Matt Riddle be Bill Goldberg’s final opponent?

No. I’d rather see Goldberg go out with a good match against a competent wrestler with who he has a history, such as Gunther or Bron Breakker. Back in the day, Riddle would have been fine, but not so much anymore.

Stadium Stampede Match: Right To Censor (Stevie Richards, Val Venis, The Goodfather, Bull Buchanan & Ivory) versus Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Dom Mysterio, Carlito & Liv Morgan). Who wins?

This would be fun and complete chaos. My gut says that the bad guys would end up winning. And who are the bad guys here? Right to Censor.

Speedball Mike Bailey is gone from TNA. So what’s next? AEW or WWE? Thoughts?

All the reports I’ve seen are pointing towards AEW. I guess Bailey got tired of good wrestling and bad money so now he’s going to go to the land of flips and big checks. I can’t blame him. He and Ricochet should have some good gymnastic exhibitions before they’re sent into AEW limbo. Bailey will do well in AEW and immediately get the big push. I’m happy for him.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
