I’m Doug. This is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Yeah, we’ve covered a lot of ground today, and the hits keep coming. Don’t worry. I’m nearly caught up, at least for today. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

The Exotic Adrian Street versus Chad Gable. Who wins?

Bot men are on the smaller size. One was a legit shooter, while the other was an Olympian. This match would be an instant classic. Gable and Street could match each other move for move. It’d be close, but I think Miss Linda would make the difference and cause a distraction to allow Street to get the win.

Who would be on your fantasy team of five men from any era to face Solo, The New Bloodline, and Bronson Reed at War Games?

A fantasy team of the best of the best from any era? How about The Midnight Express, Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane. Add Harley Race, Brock Lesnar, and Kurt Angle to round out the team, and there you go.

Who was the worst Horseman?

Some would say Curt Hennig because of the way he betrayed the group. Some would say Jeff Jarrett, but Arn says that he was never a Horseman, and Arn would know. Steve McMichael was terrible in the ring, but there are few you’d rather have in a real-life fight as your backup than Mongo. The worst Horseman? I think we can all agree. That honor belongs to Pretty Paul Roma.

Monty Brown versus Ahmed Johnson versus Moose. Who wins?

The Hair Club for Men. Is that still even a thing? Maybe Baldies for Harris? The baldness is strong with these three. It wouldn’t be Johnson because he was terrible and just sucked. I barely remember Brown. He was a good wrestler. Forget about his WWECW run with the funny French name. He was pretty decent. But the winner? Former TNA Champion Moose. He’s younger, faster, and just a better wrestler. Moose would win.

Before he retires, should Dustin Rhodes have a run with the NWA World Championship?

That would be a nice gesture and an honor that is certainly worthy of a legend of Dustin’s status. This would make Dustin & Cody the second set of brothers to both be the NWA World Champions. It would also make Dustin & Dusty only the second father-son combination to hold that title with the first being again, Cody & Dusty. The more I think about it, the more I like this idea. Someone needs to get into Billy Corgan’s ear. Dustin as the NWA World Champion? It needs to happen.

Should Rick Martel be in the WWE Hall of Fame?

This is a no-brainer. Martel is deserving and has earned this honor many times over. Martel for the WWE Hall of Fame? Hell yes!

The Visionaries (Rick Martel, The Barbarian, Paul Roma & Hercules Hernandez) w/ Slick versus The Horsemen (Ric Flair, Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit & Mongo McMichael) w/ Arn Anderson. Who wins?

The Visionaries were a great team at the 1990 Survivor Series who defeated the team of The Vipers (Jake Roberts, Jimmy Snuka, Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty). They won their match and then came back later in the night to lose a 5-3 Survivor Series match, teaming with Ted DiBiase, to lose to Hulk Hogan, Tito Santana, and The Ultimate Warrior. So they’re a tough team. And fighting the final version of The Horsemen. It’d be an interesting match and most likely, an instant classic. And who wins? The Horsemen of course.

Would John Studd have made a good babyface?

No. I met John Studd once in person and he was very friendly and a cool dude. That was John Studd away from the ring at a Pizza Inn. But his wrestling personality was just contempt and disdain for everything and everyone. Studd didn’t have the personality to be a face and there was nothing friendly or nice about him. You could offer a homeless guy a box of KFC to cheer for Studd and the guy would have to decline. John Studd was an excellent heel and knew his role well. A face? It never would have worked.

Would you like to see Stephanie McMahon back working for WWE?

Stephanie was a great representative for WWE as an executive and although she played the heel on television, was reportedly well-liked by the huge majority of the WWE employees. It’s a shame that no one with the last name McMahon isn’t part of today’s WWE. She needs to come back to the company even if it’s only as a liason for charities and acting as an ambassador.

AEW is expected to begin running shows in smaller buildings in 2025. Thoughts?

Smaller buildings to hold the smaller audiences. That sounds like a plan to me. Good deal!

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap this up. Take care, my friends. Watch out for polo ponies running free. I’ll see you at the matches.
