I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Allegedly, there are a lot of people in WWE among the agents and talent pushing for B-Fab to be given more opportunities. Thoughts?

I haven’t seen enough of B-Fab to know if she’s worth a big push or not, but I did see a match on Smackdown a few weeks ago where she was a part of the action. She had some good moves and looked good in the match. So if those who know feel that she should be given more opportunities, then so be it. She’ll either do well or not. There is only one way to find out.

Who’s the best at a promo? Roman Reigns, Steve Austin, The Rock, or John Cena?

Four of the best talkers in the business, this is a tough call. The Rock and Steve Austin rely too much on catchphrases for my taste, even if they are excellent at it. Roman is a master of facial expressions and small, subtle things. So that leaves John Cena. He comes across as a bit obnoxious at times, but he can ad-lib with the best of the team and is an excellent talker. Cena wins.

Ricochet says he’s going to prove he can carry a company during this run in AEW, a place where he can finally show the world who he is. Do you think he’s right?

I think Ricochet is a good wrestler with a lot of skill, but if he thinks that he’ll be allowed to be the top guy and face of the company, he hasn’t been paying attention. Ricochet will get a push, start to get over, and then vanish into wrestling limbo. It’s the AEW way.

Do you think if Bray Wyatt hadn’t passed away would we see Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas as Tag Team Champions on the main roster?

No, that would never have happened. Bo was off WWE TV after a career of being treated as a joke with the B-Team, while Bray was at the top of his game. The two men were never acknowledged as brothers on WWE television until after Bray passed away and, as Bray and Bo, were kept apart and separate. There was that one time when Bo & Curtis Axel wrestled Bray & Matt Hardy, but aside from that, Bo & Bray worked in different circles. They would never have been a team.

Has AEW dropped the ball with Swerve Strickland?

Swerve comes in and gets hot. Then he has his house burned down to the ground and loses his revenge match against Adam Page. And now, he’s on the losing side of a potentially hot feud with The Hurt Syndicate and Bobby Lashley. The fans are still into the whole “Swerve’s House” chants, but aside from that, interest in Swerve is fading fast. Yes, AEW has dropped the ball.

Fatal 4-way for the AWA World Championship: Larry Zbyszko versus Curt Hennig versus Nick Bockwinkel versus Jerry Lawler. Who wins?

If this match was held in Memphis, the answer would be easy. Lawler would win. But if the match was held anywhere else, it’d be more like Hennig would sell his ass off and be a human bump machine, putting in an absolutely perfect match. Larry Zbyszko would stall, complain, and bitch in (living) legendary fashion. And Nick Bockwinkel would put on the performance of a lifetime, showing how truly great he was. Nick Bockwinkel would win.

WWE has filed to trademark the name Edge. Thoughts?

The character Edge was created in WWE and is the intellectual property of WWE. Can you blame them for defending their property? It’s just business.

Timeless Toni Storm versus Wendi Richter. Who wins?

Wendi had great hype in her career and while she was certainly competent, she was not a great wrestler. It was the spectacle of her character, along with Cyndi Lauper, that made her such a great talent. Toni Storm is far more than her character and is a better wrestler than her character allows. Remember, we saw her in NXT and WWE, and Toni can go in that ring when desired. Toni would win.

When Billy Gunn retires, who should be his final opponent?

When Billy decides to retire, his final opponent should be whoever he wants it to be. Billy has had a great career and can still go with the best of them. He looks great and is far better than 85% of the current AEW roster, both in the ring and in terms of appearance. Who knows how much more Mr. Ass has left in the tank, but when he decides to call it quits, the final opponent should be his choice and no one else.

Should WWE bring back the Cyber Sunday PLE concept?

It was an interesting concept and in today’s world, it would be a fun social media experiment. If WWE did it and kept the voting for the winners, the matches, and the stipulations legitimate and real, it could get over huge. I’d like to see WWE give it a try and see how things go. It would either be a major success or a bigger bomb than the one that took out Hiroshima at the end of World War II. There’s only one way to find out.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Questions, comments, and thoughts are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
